  • Great for the price!!! 2014 Honda VFR
Okay, so now that I have about 700-800 miles on these tires, I figured it was time to write a product review. For reference, these tires were put on a 2014 Honda VFR Interceptor. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! Quality tires at a cheap price!! My wife and I went on a weekend run through the NC/TN mountains and these tires stuck great! Riding two up, I was obviously not pushing them to the extreme, but the chicken strips are gone and we had a great ride. While on the "Tail of the Dragon", the roads were a bit damp due to a bit of rain from earlier in the morning and these tires still performed admirably. We then found ourselves on the Cherohala Skyway where it dropped into the high 40's fahrenheit range and they still performed very well! I cannot comment on the longevity at this point, but if I remember I will post an update later on in the riding season. My one and only concern: This very well could mostly be psychological, but it seems like hitting bumps is a bit harsher than my previous tires. It just seems to "shock" us a bit more. One side note: I installed and mounted these myself with no "equipment". I have no qualms about this purchase!! ... show more

  • Surprisingly aggressive performance for the street rider
I own and ride several older model sport bikes, change my own tires with a modified Harbor Freight manual unit and a few specialized tire tools. Started using these tires 3 years ago and have had no issues with out of round I read in another review. They balance up readily. My Ducati 996, a 2000 with 180 rear, is on it's second set, getting 3,000 miles of aggressive county road cornering from the first set. My GSXR 750s, a 1998 with 190 rear and a 2003, 180 rear, both run these tires and get the same millage. My Suzuki TL1000R is a bit harder on 190 rear tires (torque monster) getting about 2000 to 2500 on the rears. I don't do track days, but ride with friends that are also aggressive street riders and our area has great country roads with little population and good mix of twisties and straights. Our riding consists of a typical pace of 80 mph with blasts of 160+. We ALWAYS warm up for several miles with stripe to stripe back and forths before upping the pace. I have installed these on most of my friends bikes with good results. We find them to offer confident cornering, predictable turn in and acceptable ride; stiff, but not harsh. We understand and accept the trade off of handling grip vs longer tire life, so no complaints when we change rears that start to show us cords. When adhesion is exceeded, the slide comes on predictably and controllable. Overall great bang for the performance buck, currently about $158 a set delivered. ... show more

  • Bargain
These are good value. Too soon to know about longevity. I had been using Michelin Pilot Road on my FJR1300. I have to say the bike has better handling with these Contis.

  • Tires are 2 years old
Pros: price good, tires look good, quick shipping. Cons: tires are dated 2022.

  • Great Traction
I installed these on a Yamaha XSR900 and they were a great fit. Even without balancing them (the Yamaha dealership where I took them for installation didn't have the tire balancing equipment), they fit perfectly and feel great on the bike. I could tell a huge positive difference in grip between these tires and the tires they replaced. I've been riding on them for several months now (daily 20-min commute, lots of hills, freeway, city streets, some rougher roads) and so far so good. I would definitely recommend these for the price, especially since they are name-brand tires. ... show more

  • Excellent product for the price range
I have around 2000 miles on these now on my k5 gsxr 750 and the wear of the tread is uniform and smooth no cupping or flat spots I commute with these 4 out of 5 days of the week

  • Great price - Great sticky tires for my 2007 GSXR 600
Fit these pair to my 2007 GSXR 600. A little difficult to see but have leaned the bike almost all the way to the edge of the rubber (felt very secure). Waiting to scuff out the last bit until the weather gets dry and hot. Never really ride in the rain or when its wet out, I had a buddy (with the same rear tire) mention that they can be little slick in the rain, but me or my friends who have owned these tires never have gone down on them on clean dry pavement, probably best to take it easy when its wet out though (as with any tire on any bike). They have an aggressive tread look to them which I like. They grip great on the corners and I trust them. They feel smooth and my last rear Conti Motion lasted around 7000+ miles before showing steel running around 33PSI. For the price I would highly recommend. I wouldn't run anything cheaper than these, but they are good sticky tires. ... show more
