I bought one of these clocks with a red display about 3 years ago but part of the LED display burned out. I liked the clock well enough to order another but thought I'd get the green display this time. That was a mistake. It's too bright for a bedroom. I moved the clock with the green display to a guest room where the clock faces away from the bed thinking a guest might appreciated the brightness as a nightlight in an unfamiliar room better than I liked it in my bedroom.
