Full disclosure, I really like Shark Products so I tend to buy them over other brands. I have a serious back issue and cannot mop old-school right now but needed to get my house in order for the Holidays. A friend talked about her floor steam cleaner, and I thought huh? After researching multi-function units (that vac and mop either robot style or hand-held I decided they are not worth the cost/effort for the poor performance). Settled on a manual steam cleaner for my needs. I've used this thing about 5 times and it's super easy. I do use bottled water because we have a lot of calcium and minerals in our tap water. The reservoir doesn't hold much (about 16 oz?) and that lasts for about 1000 SqFt. For me and my back issues, that's a good trade-off for the weight of water in the unit and stopping to refill. That said, it makes the unit very light and easy to use/maneuver. And for my home with one large dog and very active husband - it's been really great to help me keep the floors clean. ... show more

I got this during Amazon Prime deal days so I was really excited to get a steam mop at such a great deal. I had never used one before this so I wasn't sure what to expect. I really like it! The directions are pretty clear about how to use it, especially about attaching the pads. I love that it came with extra pads and a pair of dusting pads as well. I REALLY love that you can throw the pads into the washing machine so easily. I use distilled water and my floors look beautiful when I use the mop. There are three different levels you can choose from, which I enjoy. I have 5 kids, so I usually use the highest when mopping my kitchen tile floor! I really appreciate that I'm cleaning the floors without chemicals. I have old wood floors that I used the steam mop on carefully, in the lightest mode. The headlights are great for darker areas. Oak flooring throughout our home. This machine does the scrubbing while you easily move it around. I even used it to steam/scrub our tiled walk-in shower and the tiles gleam now! I have @1000sq ft of LVP this is quick, easy and a great way to keep floors clean. But you have to have extra pads I use at least 2 per room, 6each time I mop. I vacuum first then dust in corners and under tables. I do this once a week keeps the floors looking good. We are two with no pets.

I love shark products and this is added to the list. Very easy to use. The pads stick right on. 3 levels of clean. Easy to fill. Long chord goes a long way. Heats up very quickly. Cleans very well and no worriea about chemicals.

It works well, when it works. Stopped streaming after less than a year despite using only distilled water. Waiting to hear from their support team. I found the mop heads don’t wash up well. Get compacted and never look clean.

We have all tile floors but with two dogs and grandkids I felt like I just couldn't get the floors clean. Our socks always looked dirty. Since I've been using this steamer cleaner our floors look and feel so clean. It's so easy to use. The only thing I'd change is a longer handle (I'm tall) and a longer cord.
