Ok peeps! I just got this little stick vacuum today and quickly read instructions, put it together and vacuumed my area rug. Can I just say WOW! I ordered not one, but two other stick vacuums that were cordless and had excellent reviews on tiktok. I sent both of them back because they were crap. Very compact and easy to use, but they did not do what their primary purpose is: to pick up hair and debris from the floor. Great on hardwoods, but horrible on rugs and short pile carpet. So this time around, to avoid the hastle of having to clean, package up, and send back the disappointing performance vaccums, I spent many, many hours researching the best stick vacuum for hardwood and low pile carpets and vacuums, but on Amazon this time. I also did decide to go with corded model this time, because the batteries on the other two, ran out so quickly and I found myself rushing to get my little 400 square foot studio cleaned! Yeah! So now, why I love this vacuum? I've owned standard size sharks before, which I purchased for the facilities I managed, because I just found they had excellent suction and were reasonably priced. But all I needed for my little bungalow, was a portable, lightweight, maneuverable, stick vacuum, that didn't lose suction and vacuumed up pet hair. This one checks all the boxes. But let me tell you what's so great about it. I love that it literally propels itself forward. I love that it sucks debris both forwards and backwards. I love that it actually sucks the dirt up from the hardwood floor instead of kicking it back towards your feet. I love that I don't have to touch the dirt went empty in the cup. The previous version of this vacuum, has a dust cup that you can not remove from the main housing. So that was an improvement from the previous model, which they're still selling on Amazon btw, and is orange in color so avoid that one. I purchased model HZ752 V5 in a lovely light green color. So how is this model better than the previous ones? Well, it has a bright light on the roller housing so you can see the floor and the dust that you're vacuuming. The roller head has a different brush / squeegee combo system that prevents hair or string from getting tangled up in the roller and needing to be removed. The vacuum has an accessories bracket that keeps all of your tools with the vacuum which is a nice feature from the previous model where all of the accessories were just stored somewhere in the closet or on the floor. And again with this model, I love that you do not have to use your hand to remove the dust from the dust cup. You can remove the dust cup without taking the entire motor with you, including the cord to the trash to empty. I've done the research so you don't have to. And I can tell you for a little extra money this new model is worth it! And the cherry on top is it comes with a five year warranty. Do not hesitate to buy this powerful compact corded stick vacuum in the light green. I absolutely love the power and suction this little guy has. Thank you, Shark for listening to the reviewer's complaints from the previous model and improving this most recent model! Would it be nice if it stood up on its own while vacuuming, without having to lean it against something...yes! But honestly, that is the only thing I would improve. This little baby is awesome! I wasn’t sure whether to give this a four or five star rating. I’ve only had it a few days so I may have to come in and write another review later on. It has amazing suction, a self-propelled motor went on the carpet setting. I believe it vacuums better than my upright that I had of a different brand. I had a shark navigator upright many years ago, and I loved it. I needed something much lighter because of health issues. So it’s been a journey over the last year trying to find a vacuum cleaner that’s light enough to push doesn’t pull on my pelvic floor or my back. I’ve sent back two different vacuum cleaners and I purchased garage sale, vacuum cleaner, cleaners, to try to find out what would work. None of the uprights worked. This one is very light. I love it. I think the suction is amazing. I wish I would’ve bought this one a year ago. There are the same drawbacks that are in other reviews. The head doesn’t wanna stay down all the time if you turn it a certain way and lift up, it will go into its upright position. It does do this frequently. It has amazing amazing amazing swivel action! Better than the shark navigator. It’s so easy and light to handle. The top does feel heavy at first, but wasn’t after I started vacuuming with it. It has been deep cleaning my carpets, which is amazing. I love the lights. I have 1000 ft.³ living area and about a half of it is carpeting. Regular carpeting, not floor rugs. The desk cup is larger than most of the Kort vacuums that I looked at like this one. You do have to empty it if you have carpeting in a room. Usually fills up per room. I was able to vacuum the flooring without having to empty it. I wish it had a HEPA filter. But it does have I think three filters. I’m not sure about that.The other drawback of course is that it does not stand. Why don’t they just charge $50 more and get it to stand upright. So I’ve had to figure out different ways to get it to prop against things as I go from room to room. I got this vacuum cleaner less than half price on sale with Amazon and I’m pretty sure I’m going to keep it cause I love how light it is and how well it vacuums and swivels. I say give it a try!

We have a large German Shepherd that sheds in the spring and summer and we had been using a Dyson vacuum to clean up hard surfaces and area rugs, and we had had good experience with previous Dyson models, but the newer model was not impressive. This little vacuum actually does a better job than the full-size vacuum. It’s a little pricey for what it is on first look, but it does work well and is very strong. It has adequate cord length and the filters are fairly easy to clean and available if you do need to replace one. It does look very good job of picking up pet hair from the German Shepherd and its size is quite nice being very light. If I could probably take away a quarter star I would for the fact that is not self supporting nor is there any type of hanger included with the vacuum, which would be fairly nice but hangers can be had for small amount of money so good for what it is

So Lightweight, Yet Powerful. This Corded Stick Vacuum is wonderful. The more I use it, the more I love it. Very easy to maneuver around and under furniture. The detachable Hand Vac is so lightweight and with the attachments included makes it easy to clean my stairs . The dirt cup holds plenty of dirt and is so easy to empty. I spent years carrying my heavy full size Upright Vacuum upstairs and down. This vacuum makes that an easy task. The only con I would point out is the Power Switch. It is difficult at times to get the power to start and stay on. Perhaps a design change would be in order. However, this one con is not enough to even consider returning my Shark Stick Vacuum.

best vacuum i have EVER used. i vacuumed the house with my old vacuum the day before this one arrived and then vacuumed with this one the next day. it sucked so much dirt and hair out of the carpet and made it fluffy. also is not too heavy, and easily rolls around. also a good bang for your buck. doesn’t take up too much space. is medium sized. very durable! has a nice little hose attachment to get the little crevasses!!

Shark has failed miserably on the design of this vacuum. I already own a Shark LiftAway (my wife hates it but I love it, and I'm the one that does the vacuuming). It's a wonderful vacuum with tremendous suction. I bought this model vacuum as I wanted something for the downstairs which is ceramic tile, and I had just tried a cordless vacuum which had battery issues so it was returned. I wanted something easy to turn on, use, and put back in its place. Here are the Pros and Cons: Pros: excellent suction, very strong. It is "self propelled" when using on carpet. The vacuum head is the perfect size to go around items and under them too. Cons: will not stand on its own (this is really a pain to have to lean it against something and hope it stays upright while you move something out of the way) - it is backward heavy by design, the unit is uncomfortable to hold (weight), the power button oddly sticks when turning it on - you have to keep pushing the button for the power to STAY on, the vacuum head keeps popping up into its lock mode while vacuuming so you have to use your foot to push it back down, there is an enormous amount of heat produced by the motor and by its design, it's blowing on you since it is hand held, the power cord which people have complained about is a problem - you CAN unkink it but when you wrap it back around the vacuum in its holder, the kinks return, it is very odd the cord comes out of the TOP of the vacuum (you're fighting with it like an obnoxious mosquito) as it is always grazing your arm, the maneuverability of the vacuum is absolutely terrible as it goes every which way so you're fighting with it, and finally, it is as loud as any electric canister vacuum I've used and owned including my Dyson. My very expensive and old upright Electolux is quieter than this vacuum. What I disliked the MOST about it, and what prompted my return after using it for 30 minutes was the maneuverability of the vacuum head, the locking of the vacuum head when using it if the suction tube comes close to being horizontal, and the heat it throws out against you.

This is only day one of this vacuum but I immediately tested it out and I love it!!! As someone with a very very hairy Aussie who sheds like crazy and being as ocd as me, I’m definitely so happy I made the switch. It’s so light weight, and i was able to finally vacuum the carpet on the stairs! It seemed to be even stronger suction than the huge bulky vacuum I’ve been using. It does have a pretty tiny waste bin so you have to empty it frequently especially with pets that shed so much but I am okay with that for the trade off of light weight/easy storage! It also does not stand up on its own, but once again for the trade off I don’t mind. Definitely recommend, I’m so glad I read the reviews and chose this one!

Love the color, the power of 680 watts and the ease of use. Only one thing that really bothers me. I have an old floor attachment that I have been using on all my Shark stick vacs. It doesn't fit. I even went online and called Shark. They do not have one that fits it. It is not meant to allow for it. The floor nozzle is so much easier for hard floors. It gets into the corners and with no heaviness to it. I kept it for my office which is carpeted.
