The rack is fully assembled and all of my stereo equipment is installed. Do not install the rails too close to the front or the door latch will hit it, say 3rd hole back. Don't lose the tiny rubber bumpers, they're for the side panels. If you want to use the supplied shelves be sure you set the rails accordingly. I set my rails 19" apart. I couldn't use the shelves. I needed the depth for my Emotiva XPA amp. When fully assembled it looks very nice. I am not a fan of cage screws. Be careful, they're sharp. ... show more

I bought this for my 1st rack setup at home. I do this stuff at work but wanted to do my own physical home lab. For the price and what it included + shipping cost, it was still cheaper than buying all the accessories separately with Prime/free shipping. (Rack, PDU, Shelf, fan) Came packaged well externally. Internal box packaging was pretty good with thick soft foam and bubble wrap - until you get to the bottom of the box; they put the top piece and bottom piece together separated by a 1mm styrofoam “pad” with the clear plastic door and backing in between. Top piececame with a dent at the top left edge I had to bang out - all cosmetic luckily. Back piece was also slightly warped but easy to fix/repair. Why they didn’t use larger foam like for the rest of the stuff is beyond me. Assembly was okay. Some of the holes did not align correctly but luckily the material is not too hard to manipulate. I am disappointed with the rails though. A little more rigid than the overall unit itself, but I can see visible flex/sag from 2 switches (HPE Procurve 3800). Get some rails. If you plan to use the door, ensure the front rails are installed at least 4 holes back - especially when using fiber. I’m telling you now so you don’t have to go back and redo it. Pros - - came with PDU - rack fan (loud) pulling heat out the top - Good depth for switches/appliances/servers less than 18” - came with plenty of m6 screws (see cons) Cons- - Material is a softer steel - Rails are not very rigid to hold heavier devices - Instructions are “blah” - watch the video for assembly and you’ll get done quicker. - m6 screws and nuts were a little weak. ... show more

First I was very impressed by the packaging. Every corner was massively reinforced, the whole thing was packed bullet proof so you won't have to worry about it breaking during transport (ships from Montreal). PROS: * The price indeed. At about four hundred bucks shipping included it's amazing to have that. * The front glass door is nice, and the little holes on the side allow you to transform this whole rack into a dust-proof rack, which is what I've done with a lot of 3D printing. I put fourty 40mm fans in the front that suck the air from outside through some filters. Then in the back I have 2 bigger fans that extract the heat. I put black duct tape on every opening so I can control the airflow, and the front and back fans are dimmable so I simply make sure there is a higher flow in the front which means no air comes from anywhere else than through these filters. CONS: * The biggest cons is how thin the rack rails are. If you put anything heavy on this it will bend for sure. Don't expect to put a couple of computers that aren't supported in the back, that won't happen. So what I did was to buy two long aluminum bars of 1x1/4 and screw them all along the front rails. This provided the proper rigidity. * The back doesn't open easily, which you can tell from the photos and by the fact that this is a "wall mount" rack. But of course this is a little silly because who would buy a 22U rack with casters to then mount that whole thing on a wall? I ended up modifying this too, quite heavily by turning the rear panel into a door w/ a hinge (was not easy to do though). * Also personally I hate these small casters everybody uses, so I replaced them with huge rubber ones. OVERALL: Do not expect super high quality, and certainly not rigidity, but as an entry-level price rack it's pretty good. And if you feel like modifying it then you can actually turn it into something great. ... show more

There is scope for improvement on the instructions, and the fact that the provided shelves had to mounted to all four posts. Would have preferred a cantilever shelf mounted on just two posts. But his rack is definitely value for money.

The media could not be loaded. Perfect size for any small to medium Sever rack comes with two shelf’s and it’s easy setup after glance over the manual , or any parts that you find damaged the seller is very reasonable and replacing any defective parts very helpful very communicators. I would give him a 10 star if I could because of his communication and fast response. It’s not completed. I’m still working on it but this is what it is so far ... show more

The instructions are a GD nightmare. It’s a box right? How hard can it be even with the worst instructions right? What a joke. Cant tell if corners should overlap on inside or outside. Holes of where things line up are impossible to see. Cant tell what orientation of the images are referring to with the real materials. Assembling this thing was a total pain in the a** despite putting together cribs, dressers, garage doors, cabinets, etc. ... show more
