Nicely made and easily holds a 230# person. Reading reviews... just make sure the connecting hooks are snug. I attached mine so that gravity would help keep them attached... if they get loose they still want to go "righty-tighty" downwards in direction to stay attached. Mounted upside down, the nut could more easily become loose and fall away from the attaching threads. PAY ATTENTION to the mounting direction of the nuts to avoid trouble some other buys have noticed. The metal itself is plenty sturdy, when the nuts are snugged up and in the proper orientation... where they would naturally want to go if they did become loose.

The swings themselves are great. We got a swingset with solid plastic seats that my great grandson would have soon outgrown, and these were perfect. The color matched his swingset and he can get in these by himself (he’s 4) whereas the solid ones were slick and he couldn’t get traction to get on by himself. They’re big enough to accommodate him, his small-framed mom, and even Mamaw and Papaw. He’s even learned he can lay on his belly on these thick-padded cushions and “fly” so these work a lot better than the originals. The only problem we had was attaching them to his swingset. The hooks that came with the swings wouldn’t fit on his swingset and the ones that came with his swingset were closed hooks, so we had to pry them open to slip the chains through. It worked great after that. Well worth them for the price and the extra fun he’s having with them!
