Unroll collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain. 3. Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops. 4. Adjust the collar around your cat's neck until it fits comfortably on them. 5. Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it is not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off unless it is on a growing kitten, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the kitten grows. Also, make sure the collar cannot be pulled over the head. 6. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially if you have a kitten that is rapidly growing.

  • I love this thing so freaking much!
Size: 1 Pack
This is freaking amazing! My cat is an indoor outdoor cat. He has long fur on top of that. Before I found about Seresto, I’ve been using advantage. Advantage is pretty expensive. Four dosages and it costed me the same price as a seresto. What’s worst it only works on fleas and not ticks. I didn’t know about the no tick part until this year. As the weather gets warmer, my cat stays outside longer. He came back with one or two ticks for three days straight. I never have a flea or tick problem until now. Thats when I found out that advantage doesn’t take care of the ticks. It also doesn’t help that my cat has long fur so it’s even harder to spot them. I tried to thoroughly check his coat everyday but I’m worried that what if I miss one. Worse is what if he brings them home and gets it on the bed or something. I did a lot of digging around and see that the ones that does kill ticks are either prescribed by vets or have a relatively low ratings. Then I stumble on Seresto. I heard a lot of people didn’t like it because their cats have adverse reactions to it. I was worried an about the same thing but then say why not try it out. Ever since I got seresto, I have not seen a single tick! I checked the skin around his collar just in case his skin is irritated but so far, roughly 1 month in…no adverse reactions. It works amazing. I put it underneath his other collar and make sure that neither one is too tight. I highly recommend this especially to cats who spend time outdoor. It gives me a lot of reassurance. Helps protect not only your cat but you as well. The price is actually not bad considering that it last 8 months. That’s half the price I would have paid had I use other treatments. I do want to say that you should monitor your cat the first few days to be sure it’s safe for your cat to use. While my cat was fine with it, it could be different for you. ... show more

  • The best
Size: 1 Pack
Absolutely love Soresto! We live in my MIL’s basement and last year we ran into a flea infestation. Neither our cat or dog are outside animals but they somehow managed to get in. At first I tried topical flea medication and sprinkled diatomaceous earth on all the floors and vacuumed that, which worked for a little while but we were still struggling with fleas. After doing some research we ended up ordering the soresto collars for both the dog and the cat and they worked great! They fit them really well, they definitely defend against fleas and we haven’t had a flea problem until here recently, we noticed a couple hopping around so we went ahead and ordered a couple more. I’m super happy with this product. ... show more

  • IT WORKS!!!
Size: 1 Pack
If you know anything at all about house cats, you know they’re full of tenacity, and audacity. Once your indoor cat gets a taste of the outdoors, it’s just about impawsible to keep them from wanting to be outside all the time! That’s what happened with my cat The Baroness Meowtilda Von Softiepaws (street name: Tilly). Tilly slipped out the back door when I opened it to let my smelly little dogs out. Of course I freaked out thinking she’d run away and I’d never see her again. But Tilly stayed in the back yard and came inside after a few minutes. I vowed to never let her out again. But 1) she’s a cat with quintessential cat-like reflexes and is better than I am on her worst day, when I’m on my best day. 2) The audacity I mentioned earlier is STRONG in her 3) she DOES NOT like to be picked up/held, or confined in any way, and I value the use of my hands. She’s never been aggressive with me, but I prefer not to make too many waves. So keeping her from slipping outside from time to time was not a job for which I am well equipped. Over time I got more comfortable with it since Tilly always stayed close to the house, and was always in the house over night. She has never been injured on her excursions. Then, we had a big problem. Remember the smelly little dogs? Well they suddenly became smelly AND itchy! And that’s when I saw it. The dreaded flea infestation. The dogs are treated for fleas and ticks, so that meant the harbinger of the plague was feline, in species. Now imagine gentle reader, if Tilly is not the type of cat to allow cuddling, what are the chances she’s the type of cat to allow herself to be bathed with flea soap? Nil. The answer is, nil. Several essential oils sprays, and flea combing sessions later- I had finally eradicated the infestation. Unfortunately Tilly developed some harsh looking ulcers on her skin which the vet advised was due to an allergy related to the flea bites. I felt awful, but I got her ulcers treated and cleared up quickly (thankfully, because they were shocking to look at and I doubt they were comfortable). My vet recommended the Soresto Flea and Tick Collar for several reasons. She said 1) it works, 2) it’s made for cats and dogs, 3) it lasts for up 8 l months. She did say ā€œit’s one of the pricier optionsā€¦ā€ but she swore by its effectiveness, and said it was worth it the price. Of course this had my anxiety riddled brain thinking these collars cost enough to make me have to decide between purchasing one, or paying my mortgage. Turns out the collars are about $68, and since they’re supposed to last 8 months, that breaks down to about $8.50/month, or ~.28/ day! So I bought one and decided to give it a try. If it didn’t work, I’d know for the future and I would try something else. Well, guess what? IT WORKS! There is no chemical scent to it, it’s made of a flexible rubber type material, and it’s adjustable. I thought I’d have to fight with Tilly to get the collar on her (she prefers to go au naturale), but since the collar is adjustable with a lot of extra length, it was really easy to slip it on her neck and then pull it to tighten it. It helps to have a lickable treat at the ready to occupy your cat, if they’re resistant to being collared. The collar even comes with little plastic reflectors you can attach which is great if your cat goes out in the evenings at all. Tilly scratched at her neck and the collar for the first day or so, but then she accepted it, and now I don’t think she even notices it. I haven’t had a single flea or tick on ANY of my Fuzz Butts since using this collar, and we are going on 3 years. If I had one request, it would be for whoever is in charge to make this an item you can set up as a subscription, and automatically get a new collar every 8 months. I know I forgot to replaces Tilly’s collar for about 10 months (and it still worked!), and I don’t want to take the chance of forgetting again. For now I have a reminder on my phone, along with the reminder to change my air filter and to test my smoke alarms. But it would be much easier if I could get a new one automatically. Other than that- 10/10 recommend and your fuzz butts and sanity will love you for it! ... show more

Works great for my barn cats. This is our second one and neither of my cats has had a flea or tick. It's worth the money. They're both around 8lbs and these collars fit them well.

  • Easy, long lasting protection
Size: 2 Pack
This collar works great! It started killing fleas fast and has kept my cat protected for months. No mess, no smell, and it’s super easy to use. My cat had no irritation and seems totally comfortable wearing it. Definitely worth it for 8 months of peace of mind!

  • Effective...but for only 6 months.
Size: 2 Pack
These pricey collars work great...until they don't. Just be aware they are only good for 6 months, not 8. I bought one for my cat in December, and I already found frass and two adult fleas on her in May. Consequently, they should lower the price accordingly (-25%).

  • Easy to Use, Works Well, No Side Effects!
Size: 1 Pack
It's been 1 week since we put the collar on our cat, and amazed at how well it is working. We have been struggling with fleas for quite some time, and I'm happy to say our cat is flea free. Also, our cat has not shown any side effects at this point, as this was a big concern in reading some of the reviews. Putting the collar on itself was easy, our cat was not happy at first because he is indoor and has not worn one before - but is now comfortable in it. ... show more
