Directions: How to apply the Seresto collar on your cat 1. Remove the collar from its packaging. 2. Unroll the collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain. 3. Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops. 4. Adjust the collar around your cat's neck until it fits comfortably on them. 5. Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it is not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off unless it is on a growing kitten, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the kitten grows. Also, make sure the collar cannot be pulled over the head. 6. Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially if you have a kitten that is rapidly growing. 7. Seresto comes with three optional reflector clips that can be attached to the collar to help keep your cat visible at night. The reflector clips should be evenly distributed on the non-overlapping part of the collar.

  • It really works!
Size: 1 Pack Color: Gray
I wasn't sure what to think of a flea collar after using smelly ones years ago. This has no smell and really works! This is my 2nd one for my indoor/outdoor cat. He really hates the neck drops so I was so happy to find a collar that works! No irritation and actually lasts 8 months. No issues with fleas or ticks now! ... show more

  • These work
Size: 1 Pack Color: Gray
After months of OTC very expensive flea medicine several name brands for our cats we just could not end the cycle. It was horrible and embarrassing. I tried one cat on the collar and the results were nothing short of amazing. I don’t mind the price point if it works. It worked so well the barn cats now have them. Everyone is doing great. No cat experienced adverse reactions to this and I’m so happy. Finally a product that ended the cycle. Money well spent. ... show more

  • Work great for months

I’ve used these for years for my cats. They roam free most every day and come in at night. Never had an issue. They will also kill any existing fleas and ticks if you didn’t get them on in time.

  • Probably the most honest review, it does work eventually
Size: 1 Pack Color: Gray
We have a bad flea infestation from my kids' irresponsible and negligent dad's dog. I'm livid. A flea must've hitched a ride over to my house on one of my daughters. That's all it takes to start an infestation. So here I am vacuuming my house at all hours of the day and using essential oils like they're going to save my sanity. Well I got this collar on Monday afternoon and put it on my cat Monday evening. It's now Wednesday morning and I'm finding dead (or almost dead) fleas around where my cat has been. I'm hoping and praying that this collar is actually working like it says and pretty soon they will all be dead or so help me I might get charged for arsen. Update: it works a lot slower than advertised or we must have some fbi assault fleas or something. A week after putting it on her, she still had a lot of fleas on her. It's been 2 weeks since we got it. I gave my cat a bath about 4 days ago, I just checked her and I didn't see any fleas on her but she was also very wiggly so who knows if she may still have a couple on her or eggs, I still see her scratching but it could be from dry skin from having fleas and baths. HOWEVER, we still have fleas in the house munching on us, so I believe the collar IS working for the cat, but we still have fleas in our house. If it wasn't working, she'd be completely infested with fleas still. Time to bomb it and hope for the best. My conclusion on it: Yes, it does work! But very slowly if you have an established infestation. This collar is best for prevention, not treatment, but does work for both, just takes a couple weeks. Treat your house with a spray or bomb when your cat is flea free. Put it in the cart and don't fall apart. ... show more

  • Best collar ever made
Size: 1 Pack Color: Gray
We have 2 German Shepherds & a cat. NC weather you need to protect for fleas all year long. Somehow our dogs and cat had fleas. By the time I realized we had a flea problem, our house was infested!! I flea bombed our house twice in a month. Then I wound up getting chemical pink eye from the chemicals. I did some research. I washed everything. I bought Adams home flea spray & spray for the dogs and one for the cat. My poor cat had such a a bad reaction to that. She was shaking from it. I couldn't believe I almost killed my cat because I treated her for fleas & she was having such a a bad adverse reaction!! So back to doing more research I came across these flea collars. I was so afraid to put it on her, but all my animals couldn't get rid of fleas!! I put the collars on all 3 pets. Within hours, the scratching wasn't as bad. The next day it was less and the same thing on the 3rd day!! None of them had a bad reaction to the collars either. I just placed another order for the dogs as the 8th month mark is in a couple weeks. These collars are expensive, but worth every penny!! Fleas are horrible and when dogs eat them, they can also get hookworms, which is another nightmare for furbabies!! I won't ever buy anything else but these collars from now on!! ... show more

  • IT WORKS!!!
Size: 1 Pack Color: Gray
If you know anything at all about house cats, you know they’re full of tenacity, and audacity. Once your indoor cat gets a taste of the outdoors, it’s just about impawsible to keep them from wanting to be outside all the time! That’s what happened with my cat The Baroness Meowtilda Von Softiepaws (street name: Tilly). Tilly slipped out the back door when I opened it to let my smelly little dogs out. Of course I freaked out thinking she’d run away and I’d never see her again. But Tilly stayed in the back yard and came inside after a few minutes. I vowed to never let her out again. But 1) she’s a cat with quintessential cat-like reflexes and is better than I am on her worst day, when I’m on my best day. 2) The audacity I mentioned earlier is STRONG in her 3) she DOES NOT like to be picked up/held, or confined in any way, and I value the use of my hands. She’s never been aggressive with me, but I prefer not to make too many waves. So keeping her from slipping outside from time to time was not a job for which I am well equipped. Over time I got more comfortable with it since Tilly always stayed close to the house, and was always in the house over night. She has never been injured on her excursions. Then, we had a big problem. Remember the smelly little dogs? Well they suddenly became smelly AND itchy! And that’s when I saw it. The dreaded flea infestation. The dogs are treated for fleas and ticks, so that meant the harbinger of the plague was feline, in species. Now imagine gentle reader, if Tilly is not the type of cat to allow cuddling, what are the chances she’s the type of cat to allow herself to be bathed with flea soap? Nil. The answer is, nil. Several essential oils sprays, and flea combing sessions later- I had finally eradicated the infestation. Unfortunately Tilly developed some harsh looking ulcers on her skin which the vet advised was due to an allergy related to the flea bites. I felt awful, but I got her ulcers treated and cleared up quickly (thankfully, because they were shocking to look at and I doubt they were comfortable). My vet recommended the Soresto Flea and Tick Collar for several reasons. She said 1) it works, 2) it’s made for cats and dogs, 3) it lasts for up 8 l months. She did say “it’s one of the pricier options…” but she swore by its effectiveness, and said it was worth it the price. Of course this had my anxiety riddled brain thinking these collars cost enough to make me have to decide between purchasing one, or paying my mortgage. Turns out the collars are about $68, and since they’re supposed to last 8 months, that breaks down to about $8.50/month, or ~.28/ day! So I bought one and decided to give it a try. If it didn’t work, I’d know for the future and I would try something else. Well, guess what? IT WORKS! There is no chemical scent to it, it’s made of a flexible rubber type material, and it’s adjustable. I thought I’d have to fight with Tilly to get the collar on her (she prefers to go au naturale), but since the collar is adjustable with a lot of extra length, it was really easy to slip it on her neck and then pull it to tighten it. It helps to have a lickable treat at the ready to occupy your cat, if they’re resistant to being collared. The collar even comes with little plastic reflectors you can attach which is great if your cat goes out in the evenings at all. Tilly scratched at her neck and the collar for the first day or so, but then she accepted it, and now I don’t think she even notices it. I haven’t had a single flea or tick on ANY of my Fuzz Butts since using this collar, and we are going on 3 years. If I had one request, it would be for whoever is in charge to make this an item you can set up as a subscription, and automatically get a new collar every 8 months. I know I forgot to replaces Tilly’s collar for about 10 months (and it still worked!), and I don’t want to take the chance of forgetting again. For now I have a reminder on my phone, along with the reminder to change my air filter and to test my smoke alarms. But it would be much easier if I could get a new one automatically. Other than that- 10/10 recommend and your fuzz butts and sanity will love you for it! ... show more
