  • It works! If you have a lot...
We had a huge flea infestation in our apartment. We tried the ole' "dawn dish soap on plates" trap, as well as vacuuming multiple times a day. We would have 80-100 on the plates daily since we were not able to stop the flea life-cycle. We used this product in 2 different parts of the 700 sq ft apartment. It took 4 rounds of the stuff, equalling a total of 8 canisters. Do I wish it took less time and canisters to get the job done? Yes. Am I happier it was half the price of the inadequate pest control my complex offers? Absolutely! ... show more

  • So far, no more fleas
My dog recently got a few fleas on him so I wanted to attack the problem before it got worse. After getting him the meds he needed, I wanted to be sure to get rid of any fleas that might be in the house. My vet recommended something like this because it can get everywhere to be sure to kill any eggs that might be hiding. I used this in my living room and bedroom (also washed all my bedding in HOT) and so far, there haven't been any more fleas. Since my living room is connected to my kitchen, I covered up any appliances on my counters so I wouldn't have to wash them. I also put some old towels down in the center where I put the canister because I have wood floors. I put a chair in the center of the room, turned the canister on (it's easy to hold it away while it sprays and it's not so powerful that you can't still set it up after turning it on). It was easy to adjust the nozzle to keep it on and then we left for two hours to let it do it's thing. I was worried my place would smell when I came back, but I didn't notice any odor or any residue on anything. My dog didn't seem to notice anything either, meaning he jumped right up on the sofa like normal. Fleas are not a big thing in Colorado so I don't anticipate them coming back, but this is supposed to work for seven months so if I notice something next spring, I'll update my review. But so far it worked great and the fleas are totally gone. ... show more

  • Not great
I ordered these because most of the reviews claimed that it got rid of fleas fast. Not the case for me. I used all three cans and set them on chairs to cover the whole house. It’s small only around 1300 sf. I’m still fighting them and will probably resort to a professional exterminator. Easy to use, doesn’t stink when you come back inside and doesn’t leave any sticky or filmy residue though. ... show more

  • Works, but most likely 1 round is not enough
I choose to purchase Advantage flea bombs for a real severe flea infestation. This brand is a good value compared with other options I found. I was treating a house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/family room. Around 1400 square feet. I chose to use 6 cans each treatment as the fleas were very bad. The infestation was to the point that in just 10 minutes I would have at least 20 on my legs. It took 3 treatments to get a real handle on the fleas. However, after each treatment I did notice a difference but not until after the third round was I able to walk thru the house with none on my legs. I would suggest at least 2-3 rounds of bombing a house as it would seem 1 is not enough due to the 3 life cycles of the flea. I would also suggest using even in a room without carpets for the bombs to really work, as I was surprised at how many fleas were even in the kitchen with the linoleum floors. ... show more

  • Kills Fleas, eggs & larvae DEAD and keeps them away for months...
I live in Flea country, and despite using a topical flea treatment on my Labrador Retriever, the house still gets the occasional infestation -- especially in fall and spring. I've bug bombed on the regular for years to kill those fleas, and always thought that all bug bombs were equal. They aren't.... the Raid Flea bombs used to work like a charm and not only killed the fleas but the eggs too. I think they must've changed their recipe for poison though, because they stopped working. Picked up the Advantage bombs at the suggestion of my Veterinarian. I set two of these off in my small home in March 2019 and it worked like a charm. My home was flea free. My big dog crossed the rainbow bridge in May, so I gave away all my extra stuff... then in August I started getting bites again.... turns out that there may have been a few lingering eggs or larvae that didn't breathe enough poison. Set off another in August and have been flea free ever since. Am expecting that I won't have to set off another as I'm pet-free now, but keeping them around just in case. Oh, and by the way... this bomb also kills spiders, which was just an added bonus. Didn't leave a super greasy film on everything and din't leave my house smelling like it had recently been bug bombed. ... show more

  • It works on ticks!
Y’all I got this because I found a tick on my body and freaked the **** out. I don’t do bugs. The night after there was a giant waterbug/cockroach on my wall and I am so scared of bugs I sprayed it with water and it chased me across the room. After that I kept seeing ticks around my apt. Finally I put my big girl panties on and said NO MORE! I bought an electric bug zapper and this fogger. I was scared to use it because I have a small dog and some of the reviews from the other websites said it sucked. I figured it was worth a try since it was also for ticks. I dogged my apartment and came back with my dog 4 hours later. I couldn’t tell if there was a smell because I had a horrible cold. I cleaned all my surfaces and vacuumed and as I was changing my bedding I found a small DEAD tick ON MY BED!!! Gross! But awesome! That was all the evidence I needed! Now I’m not scared anymore and can live peacefully in my apartment. This stuff seriously saved me!!! BTW I also bought screen material and cut it to size and had one of my friends put it under my vents so nothing can get through. I am ready for winter! ... show more
