UPDATE: So we had our treadmill for a little over a year and it had still been doing great until one day we noticed a rip in the belt. I contacted their customer support as we were still within warranty and they were absolutely amazing! It was a simple matter of providing them with a copy of our receipt (a screenshot of the purchase from our Amazon account) and a photo of the issue and within the next day they notified us they were sending out a full replacement! They were responsive, followed up to every email in a timely manner, and did not hassle us about the process like I’ve had some other companies do. They simply stood by their word and honored the warranty. Can’t ask for better than that. Not only is this a good product (it was still functioning well, I feel a rip in the belt could happen to anyone) but an honest, fair, responsive company that you can absolutely feel safe about purchasing from. Can’t say enough good things. Ten stars for these guys. If you’re on the fence, rest assured this company will take care of you if you need them. Wanted to try this thing out a bit before reviewing but it has not disappointed. It was easy to assemble and not too heavy. It folds up and down like a dream (see video). It’s true it’s not the same heavy duty treadmill you’ll find in a gym but we weren’t looking for that. It’s quite small when folded and easy to move around (it has wheels). We thought we’d store it in the garage when not in use but it turns out it’s small enough we’ve been able to leave it in a corner of the living room. I will say that when my husband uses it- who is much larger/more muscular than me and works out harder than I do- you can kind of see where it’s limits would be as far as what it can take. That said, it’s held up nicely for both of us. If you’re planning to practice for a marathon and straight up run on it for hours and hours, it might not have what you need. But for us, who just want something affordable that we can both use at home, with our differing workout levels, that will fit in the house nicely and be easy to maneuver, this is a stellar machine for the price and exactly what we were hoping for. I have had this treadmill for almost a month now and I really like it. It was pretty easy to put together and the computer system with it is easy to use. It also has a pulse counter built into the handles. It’s quiet I mean, you know you’re on a treadmill, but it’s not completely silent. The only thing I wish I had done was paid just a little bit more money and gotten the auto incline instead of the manual.Mainly because there is an app that you can use with this treadmill called FitShow. It has programs and training that you can do with the Bluetooth to connect to the treadmill and if you don’t have the auto incline, you won’t be able to incline with the program. I have done several of the free walks with different scenery like redwood forest, the Great Wall of China things like that. You can pay a subscription and get a more detailed programs, but the free ones are pretty nice. There’s also programs already in the treadmill itself. I’m 73 years old and my main objective with this is to keep my bones moving and hopefully be able to lose some weight. If you’re looking for fancy, this is not your treadmill, but if you want reasonably priced that will do a good job I recommend this one. ... show more

This is a really good home treadmill. It was a COVID-19 purchase for me since the gym was not available along with the shelter in place orders. I gave it a 4 and not a 5 for two reasons one there is about an inch and a half of play or movement in the arms that hold the console I’m sure there’s a design reason for that but I’d much prefer it to be static however it does feel stable and safe once your aware of it. The second reason for the 4 is that while it is easy to assemble the instructions are not clear, at least the ones I received. I had to go to serene life live chat and they were incredibly helpful (very good company) and they immediately sent me a how to video which cleared up a couple of small issues. As for the unit itself I’m 6 feet tall 180 pounds and I feel very secure on it. The folding of the unit is very easy it is very compact yet very sturdy. I’m actually very impressed with it as a whole. I don’t use programs on treadmills at the gym so I don’t use these I did try a few of them and they seem to work just fine. While the incline feature is manual it is very easy to use. As far as being on the unit you have to remember this is much narrower and shorter than a typical Gym style treadmill so as long as you keep that in mind it works really well. I mentioned that because I’ve read several reviews on treadmills of this size where people complain about the size of the walking pad (which is odd because you should be aware that a home treadmill would be much smaller especially at this price point) but as long as you’re aware of the size of the walking pad and act accordingly it works just fine So overall very happy with the unit I recommended it to quite a few of my friends and serene life seems to be a very good company ... show more

I bought this treadmill because at the time, it had pretty decent reviews, it's small & folds up since I don't have a lot of space for a traditional size treadmill and it's lightweight, easy for me to move if needed. When I first got this treadmill, it was great and I loved it. Then one day, 14 months after purchase, I smelled something burning and it started overheating really bad. I took the face plate off to look at the motor and there were shreds of some material, assuming the tread belt, all inside. I cleaned it up, checked everything out, made sure there were no loose connections, readjusted the tension on the tread thinking maybe it's overheating because it's too tight, and retested a few days later. Still overheating after 20 minutes of use. I called customer service and they sent me an email with a list of suggestions to check out the possible issue. They asked for my purchase information and for me to let them know if there was still an issue. The list of suggestions were everything I already did. They said that because the treadmill was a little over a year old, it was out of warranty and I would have to get a local repair technician to fix it and the best they could do was offer me a $10 discount on one of their products. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I would expect this product to at least last more than 14 months and all they could do was offer $10 discount? Seriously ??!! If you're looking for a treadmill that you are unsure that you will use, then buy this to test out because its cheap, otherwise, if you know for sure you will use a treadmill regularly, then spend a little more money and upgrade to a better brand/style treadmill. ... show more

First of all, let me apologize, in advance, for this lengthy review; I truly need to express my thoughts on my personal experience with this treadmill and the buying process. Firstly, I was really excited to find this treadmill at such a good price, especially because I needed to find a portable treadmill under $300, which is the wellness benefit allowed by the company for which I work. I received the treadmill super fast, faster than the date that I was given, which impressed me even further. The assembly was super easy and quick, even when being stubborn and not taking the time to properly read the instructions. 🙄 Yes, I am that person. LOL. I truly, truly love the size and weight of this treadmill, as I am 5' 2" and was dreading having to lug the box up to my 2nd story apartment, then having to move it around inside. I did have my boyfriend help me, but I am sure that I would have been able to do it myself, with just a little more huffing and puffing. 😉💪🏻 It is so easy to fold and very portable. The wheels work great and I love being able to move it anywhere with ease. Once I got it all oiled up and my boyfriend and I gave it a whirl, we did notice a creaking sound that we were hoping would go away. Well, it didn't, so I e-mailed the vendor and was given instructions on what to check: ensure all screws and bolts are tightened properly, the treadmill is on an even surface, etc. We checked all of that and moved it to a different area, but it was still creaking only on one side. The vendor rep. said that some creaking is normal, as this is a portable treadmill and not a professional version, which I completely understand. I was willing to overlook the creaking; however, when I was asked if I would send a video for the technician to check if the sound was normal, I was happy to comply. When I was about to make the video, the rep. e-mailed me that it was not necessary to send the video, after all, and offered a replacement. Is that great customer service or what? I feel that the rep. went above and beyond my expectations and made the replacement process hassle-free. The fact that the treadmill itself is such a gem, for the type of equipment that it is (portable for home use), with it's wireless fitness tracking capabilities and ease-of-use, as well as the fact that it's wide and long enough for a good walk/run makes me happy, happy! Finally, this treadmill will help me keep fitness at hand and my people phobia at bay, as I will not need to visit a gym as often. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏻😊 ... show more

I looked at this treadmill on Amazon for soo long! I watched the videos, read reviews, good and bad, fretted over it all. I even ordered it and cancelled my order an hour later. I kept worrying about some of the bad reviews. Sometimes those are spot on and sometimes not. What to do?! I watched one video where the guy said it was really quiet. Then I saw a review that said it wasn’t. So confusing! My other dilemma was, what if I get it and it just sits there? What if I waste money… on a whim? Well, this was really no whim. Bottom line was that I truly needed something to help me exercise. It’s a necessity. I need to exercise! I have to, no choice! Then I worried about assembly. Ug! Would this treadmill take a genius mind to put it together? I knew I could eventually figure it out but I just didn’t want the headache. I fretted over that quite a bit. I read a review that said it was simple and nearly put together already, but you know, I didn’t quite believe it. It all came back to, I need to exercise and I don’t belong to a gym. Gyms, for me, are just too crowded and I don’t want to get dressed up to go. Sone might be able to go looking like a hag but I can’t. I don’t want the pressure of seeing all the muscle bound people. Sorry, I truly admire them but am not one of them. Ok, so, I got this treadmill last week. It came! When I opened the box it was pretty much put together. Wow. A few screws and it was ready to go. It works. I was so happy and relieved about that. Is it loud? NO! The main noise I hear is my feet hitting the tread as I walk. The machine itself is exceptionally quiet. Oh, another thing I worried about was the width and length. I’d read reviews and felt concern over that. Would it be ok, for “me”? I’m 5’8”. Well, I’m no runner, so for me? Perfect! I can walk as fast as I want without any problem. I don’t run anyway, as I don’t like that for my joints. I’m truly not sure if I could run on it or not. I lean towards not though. Another advantage? It takes up such a small space and is not intrusive in our family room. Plus it folds up and yes, gently unfolds. So all in all. I am VERY HAPPY! I’d recommend this treadmill to anyone. ... show more
