I took a chance on this Serene Life Home (PYLE USA) IPCAMHD50 WiFi Camera. It is full featured: HD, ZOOM/PAN/TILT controls, Motion Detection, two way audio, Alexa support, Phone/Tablet/and notably, a PC interface. I found the picture to be very clear and sharp. This cam comes very safely and nicely packaged in a slip covered box similar to other high end products-I’m thinking of a kind of fruit. Included is the camera itself, a power supply, power cable, mounting bracket and mounting screws with inserts. Also included is a nice short clearly written (in English) booklet on setup. I had a spot of trouble figuring out the PAN/TILT (figured out-use your finger on the screen) and there is a web page for registering and with email support and help that I checked out. So far, I’m pleased. As always I’ll update this review if my experience changes. I have previously purchased a number of brands of IP Cams sort of similar to this including about 8 YI Home cameras.     • Sensitivity
I’ve use this camera for a few months now. It works very well. It does pick up motion and sound. I will advise that certain sounds that are louder than others like motorcycles loud vehicles things like that The camera will pick up and send you a false notification. There are also other settings on there that I had to turn off because it was just simply too sensitive. Especially to pick up a human going by. It would constantly go off all the time and was very annoying. So if I was to rate this camera from 1 to 10 I would give it a seven. This is just my personal opinion. Overall the camera is wonderful to use easy to set up. For a final note even though that you adjust the settings to the lowest settings possible like I have. The camera will pick up whatever settings you have it set up. So buyer beware on where you place your camera. Overall I am happy with my camera! ... show more

    • The monitoring solution I wish I found years ago.
The last few years I have had the need for remote viewing a device at worksites and have been using a combination of cellphones, car batteries and tupperware to create a completely portable and lazily modular system for monitoring. It has worked well, but my biggest complaints were: The software was horrible and ad riddled and the device was only one way for sound despite having a microphone. This camera has a good crisp picture, a great software experience and TWO WAY SOUND! I know there are other devices out the that have a similar feature set and/or pricing, so I am only comparing it the the means I was using prior. First, I think it is important to note that for the price, the device seems extremely well built/sturdy. I think there is no question that this could be used for a lenghty period of time without need for relacement. It comes with everything you need to get setup, all of which are nice products in there own right, (most cables and adapters that come with products these days are of a dollar store variety). It also comes with an extremely handy wall mount which I feel most companies would have made you pay extra for. The instructions are well written, not too long to read and most importantly...     • Quality and Lot of Features for a Small Price
This is an excellent, reasonably priced indoor camera. It was easy to set up and get started. I simply downloaded the app to my smartphone using the provided QR code, and created an account and followed the straightforward instructions. It connected to my wi-fi network quickly on the second try and the connection has been steady and dependable. The app is easy to use and self-explanatory. The camera also comes with a mounting bracket and long power cord. I purchased separately a 32 GB micro SD card to record on the camera itself, which you can view from your phone. It holds a lot of videos. You can view and control the camera image on your phone or the website. It has motion detection (adjustable) and alert notifications. The video quality is excellent, and in low light the camera switches to B/W using the ambient light. It also has the pan tilt and zoom features, and tracking. You can take pictures and record video, and it even has a microphone and speaker for two-way communication. I’ve been using it in various location around the house, but haven’t settled on a permanent location yet. I will probably purchase additional cameras (including the outdoor model) as I can seem multiple uses for it. ... show more

Meh I’m not impressed with this. Upset the same exact camera (well not same but extremely similar for same app) were cheaper ($40) and work better than this. This was supposed to be like upgraded from those and it’s not. The coloring sometimes messes up and I get weird green or purplish coloring on the screen. It is also the pixels when the camera is super slow and grainy. I expected a little better. The camera for the most part is still and I don’t need to move it around so I guess its fine for its purpose since I can no longer get the other type. ... show more

    • Needs more improvement.
It will follow an object then will turn facing the wall and will stay there until you will turn it back. I had it in the garage for a while ..when the garage opened the camera turned around and stopped facing the wall and I couldn't see who went inside ...just heard the sound. This is one big problem. The other problem is the app . Needs a lot of work. Who made it should look at the blink app and see how easy is to watch the motions . There's no need to clik so many times back and forth to watch next video. And the dates are sooo little tiny numbers can't figure out which one I just watched . All I like about it is the idea of it. ... show more
