  • Needed by everyone
Color: Navy Blue
All humans are fated to leave this life. We want to believe those we leave behind will do the right things but people cannot know things unless you tell them. First do not think of this as a end of life planner, think of it as a first step in gathering all of my stuff that might have been forgotten about by you. In a world where people change jobs, you could have Retirement accounts with old employers (if you don’t remember those who are left to deal with your estate will not locate them either). Second, you can use this as way to reorganize your life. Just because it is called end of life, there is new life in every beginning. The journal provide plenty of writing space and is organized into sections that will guide you through the process. Also know if life changes, you can update your plans and make reallocations. ... show more

  • A good start; you may want to write some things in pencil
Color: Navy Blue
I really like the idea of this book. It is a sturdy and nice-looking book that is a good start for end-of-life planning. Everything is organized well, with tabs for each section, e.g., medical information, key contacts, arrangements, financial, and more. If you are an older person or someone with a terminal illness and who anticipates not making any changes in your life—say, moving, getting a new car, changing passwords on your phone or computer, changing any doctor or service provider, or changing where you keep your important papers—this would be a great book for you. But, if you are relatively young and not anticipating death any time soon, you will need to regularly review what you have written in this book, because you might have a lot of changes to make as you move through life. There is only so much room to write things, for the most part, and if you write in pen and then things change, you’ll have no room to make the updates. There is a lot of space to write under “My Wishes.” Ideally, though, you would have a legal document that specifies your wishes already—an advanced directive, living will, power of attorney, or some such, as well as your will. I could hear my junior high English teacher, Mrs. Martin, bristling at the section entitled “Who to Notify.” Whom! All in all, I think this book can help people really start to think about their death and just how complicated things can be for those who are left to deal with things after you’re gone. This book can help make the process of dealing with what must be done easier at a time when grief can make it difficult to think clearly. ... show more

  • Planning for the inevitable
Color: Navy Blue
I know nobody wants to think about our mortality, but death will come to us all when the time is right. This is a great book to prepare for your loved ones for when you pass. It has everything from who your beneficiaries are/what they will receive, what pets you have & where they might go, your insurance information, the mortgage information for your home, etc. This is really a snapshot of the important things that your loved ones will need to know for when you are no longer here. It even has sections for notes, so if you want something specific at your funeral/memorial service, you can put that information in there as well. This book is well laid out and they have thought of everything. I highly recommend this if you are ready to put a plan in place for in the future, when you are no longer here. ... show more

  • This book is a must for everyone. young and old
Color: Navy Blue
This book is great to help make sure everything is in order, just in case, or if you are older and need to have everything in order for your family. This book had things I didn't even think of, but I know it would make things so much easier for my family. I like this book so much, I am getting one for my father. I think everyone should have a book like this. We never know in life, so this book helps. It is a great value ... show more

  • Covers everything you would think to need covered
Color: Navy Blue
Nice leather like exterior. Has a pen holder on the side. Love that it has ingrained tabs for each section. Has appropriate sections as well. Thick paper. Holds ink well on the pages. Covers everything you would expect it to. No wasted space on the pages.

  • Covers all the necessities
Color: Navy Blue
This book has been very useful. I lost my brother a couple months ago unexpectedly, and the nightmare that has been figuring out how to close his estate made me realize how important it is to start figuring these kinds of things out to save your loved ones the headache. So far, this book has helped me start simplifying what that process would be for my family if something happened to me. The tabs are clear, and there is enough space in each category to capture what most people would need. Over all, I am very satisfied. ... show more

  • Makes life easier for families in a time of grief.
Color: Navy Blue
This book is exactly what I was looking for. It has a place to record things for the future. Some things I had already thought of and others I hadn't. It will be easy for the children to find when the time comes. It has a place to record all the information for the funeral home, cemetery or church. Extra spaces for notes, reminders and thoughts. I'm happy I got it. ... show more
