Bought our first in June 2023. Very happy with it. Did the job much better than expected. Having to get a new one this season. Only because we dropped our first one a few too many times putting it away. Cracked the clear plastic. The metal weights did show some rusting but minor. And we do have a salt water pool with vinyl liner.

This was to replace the ancient vacuum head that disintegrated with old age. Its used on an inground pool 18x#6 with vinyl liner. This item seems well made but because of there are more parts to it I don't expect it will last as long as the more simple model it replaced. What I do like is the bristles on the sides allow you to clean the sides of the pool as you go. The head was easy to fit and use as expected. This is weighted but not excessively so, again it is not weighted as much as the older item it replaced, so it will go to the depths of your pool without problem, but you will need to be slow moving it , particularly when dragging backwards as it will tend to lift easily. One point of potential failure, as was also noted in another review, is the screw on ring underneath the head where the swivel pipe affixes. It can easily loosen and will leave your cleaner head at the bottom of your pool if not securely tightened. It can only really be hand tightened so that isn't ideal as I noticed after first use it had already become slightly loose, to remedy that I wrapped some plumbers tape around it and retighten it and haven't had a problem since. just something to be aware of. Overall, it's a good product and it can be fairly subjective how powerful it is as that is entirely based on your pump and filter, what I can say is that with a clean filter flowing at a strong rate this created enough suction to clean my pool including some heavy debris at the 8ft deep mark, so it does what it needs to do!

I’ve been a pool owner for 28 years, so Im not a rookie at vacuuming a pool. In these years, I have had to get a new vacuum head for one reason or another. For the first time, I didn’t buy one like I’ve always had. I decided it would be good to have the one that also had brushes outside of the vacuum. WELL, BIG MISTAKE! I’m vacuuming and I hear something loud that sounded like something busted. Low and behold, something did! The skimmer plate blew out of the skimmer. I went to put it back only to discover that the basket had broken and sunk to the bottom of the skimmer housing. To top it off, it created a crack or hole in the pipe and now I have air in the line and will have to spend hundreds to get that repaired! I’m attaching pics and a video. Pics will show how much water shot out of the skimmer, how the basket broke, how the ring that the basket sits on is no longer connected. The video shows the air that is in the line. The round gray ring I am holding and the green piece blew out of the vacuum head and i had to retrieve them with the net. DO NOT BUY this! If I could give it negative stars, I would. I can still send it back because I’m still within the return window; however, that refund won’t even come close to what I’m going to have to spend to get the pipe and skimmer housing repaired or replaced. I just want to cry and scream at the same time!!!

It’s an upgrade from the unitec I bought first. It works pretty well. I wish the brushes were more thorough and longer. It’s weighted but not enough in my opinion. Would love the weight to be double what it is.

I came in from using this for the first time and said, "I've gotta write a review!" This head is great. The brushes on the bottom and the sides really helped loosen things for the vacuum to suck up. I've had pools for years and this excited me. I hope it lasts a long time.
