I picked up this Sepetrel 15-foot professional extendable pool pole to upgrade my setup, and it has quickly become my go-to pole for handling a mix of routine skimming, intense brushing, and heavy vacuuming. Here is how this modular pole holds up in action: Universal Compatibility Compatibility is excellent across the board. I have a few different style cleaning attachments at home—including a standard skimmer net, a heavy-duty 4.4-pound weighted vacuum head, and a specialized pool wall brush that features a slightly different bracket layout. This pole accommodates all of them seamlessly. Every connection seats perfectly without any play or wiggle, making it highly versatile for switching tasks on the fly. Size, Versatility, and Reach At a maximum extension of 15 feet, the size is phenomenal for residential maintenance. The largest residential pools you generally run into are around 30 feet in diameter, meaning this 15-foot extension allows you to comfortably reach the dead center from the pool deck without getting wet or stepping a foot into the water. Conversely, when collapsed down to its shortest configuration using the compact sections, it shrinks down to a highly manageable 3 to 4 feet. This short length is incredibly handy for close-quarters work or brushing down sections right next to you. Appearance and Section Design Visually, the pole looks great, though the engineering configuration is unique. It utilizes a multi-section modular design. While the shorter individual sections look a little unusual at first glance, they are incredibly practical. When you need to push out to those far, deep corners of the water, these extra lengths give you massive, rigid jumps in space, letting you transition from a close-up brush to a long-distance sweep instantly. Durability and Build Quality The pole is made of a high-grade aluminum material that keeps the overall weight exceptionally light and easy to maneuver. Despite the lightweight properties, the structural integrity is top-tier. Even when pushed out to a far reach with a hefty 4.5-pound vacuum head anchored to the bottom, the pole remains rigid and solid. I didn't feel any concerning flex or stress that would make me think it's going to bend or fail, and I don't foresee any structural issues down the line. Installation and Safety Notes Assembly and installation couldn't be simpler. The pole utilizes standard depression tabs—you simply push the spring-loaded pins in, slide the sections together, and let them snap firmly into place. My only minor advice during setup involves checking the metal edges. While the edges on the connection points look like they were filed down at the factory, the nature of stamped metal means there is always a potential for small, sharp knurled pieces or burrs to catch your skin during assembly. Luckily, mine arrived completely smooth, but it is a good habit to just watch the edges when clicking them together. This earns a well-deserved 5-star rating. It is a rugged, lightweight, and incredibly versatile 15-foot pole that makes residential pool maintenance a breeze. If I ever managed to lose a section or needed a replacement, I would happily buy this exact model again.

Very sturdy, well built! Able to really clean the middle of the pool very good with this length pole. Vacuuming the pool has become a bit easier as well! Doesn't make a whistle noise when going up and down in the water ! Seems like it was made to built to last for a long time! Quality of the pole is very nice.

This appears to be a well made, durable pole for brushing or skimming the pool. It snaps together and is strong, even when fully extended. The tightening ring is easy to use and prevents it from collapsing. It's comfortable to use even for extended periods. Better materials than the one sold in the home improvement stores. A good value.

This can go from pretty short to incredibly long using all the extensions. However, for our use we don't need to use every piece of it. It does telescope, but make sure you get it tight or it will start to slip on you and shorten as you use it. It does well enough for our needs and certainly has enough length for probably any pool. Seems to be sturdy and well-made overall.
