I’m giving five stars. It is a light weight battery operated snow thrower. It is not going to plow through a foot of wet snow. It does just fine in smaller, dry snow amounts. I took just a half width path when plowing. The machine throws the snow a remarkable distance. Battery is good but had to be recharged after about an hour of continuous use. Recharge takes about two hours, so another set of batteries would be helpful. Easy, push button start. Chute turns by pushing a switch. Chute angle is manual. Overall, great for walkways, patios. Update: 1.19.26 - yesterday we had another 3+ inches of wettish snow over 8-12 hours during the day. There was some melting at the black top surface, and I did not clear the snow until today (24 hours later), so there were batches of crunchy ice below the snow in some places. The steel auger plowed right through it with no problem at all. Also based on the drier crunchy snow, the machine was able to throw the snow at least 10 ft away. I'm getting more experience using my Senix and loving it :-) I was able to finish my driveway 120 ft and 25 ft walkway in <20 minutes on a single charge. 1.16.26 - we had about 3.5 inches of wet snow in Mercer County NJ. Outside temp around 32 deg. First time use of Senix 2x2 40V and first-time snow blower owner. I have a 4-year-old Snow Joe snow shovel which works well except for the physical exertion part. Driveway is about 120 ft long and 10 ft wide. Using the Senix, I completed the entire driveway in about 40 minutes and was impressed I was able to do so on a single charge. At 25% the blower would not power up, but the job was all done! My only criticism is the snow throw is only about 6ft, so it makes planning your path important, so you don't do double work. I would imagine the the snow throw is dependent on the wetness of the snow. Blower is easy to start and walk behind was a breeze. The steel auger easily tore into the 3.5 inch of snow. The blower is super easy to set up, quality feels good. I recommend this product for medium depth snow. ... show more

    • Worth the Money, Much Better Than a Corded Snow Blower

We haven’t had a major snowfall since I purchased this but it has quickly subdued lesser ones. I did try it on some deep drifts from our whopper snow earlier in the season and it did the job by removing the snow in layers. What I like - easy to maneuver by being cordless. Handled a wet snowfall. The LEDs are cool for night plowing. One thing not advertised - if it gets bound up by ice or deep snow, the blades stop, pull back, it re-engages. Super easy to assemble. Please note - the batteries last about 1/2 hour, which is why I bit the bullet and bought a second set. Also note - the discharged batteries have to cool down to room temperature before they will start recharging so that 2nd set comes in handy unless you want to wait hours. ... show more

This is an excellent snowblower. It can throw even wet snow up to four or 5 inches deep several feet away. Works really well. I used to own another electric and it was hesitant to buy this because the old one would get stuck in the snow all the time, even if it wasn’t deep. This one works great. The problem is with heavy snow even on a full charge. It only runs for 10 or 15 minutes. I have a large driveway and we got about a foot of snow yesterday so with blowing winds I ended up using it about four times yesterday. The only problem with this thing is that it doesn’t last long enough. I can barely get my driveway done on a charge and then I would have to recharge and then do my walkway and side, walkway and backyard. If they offered additional batteries that would solve the problem, but ideally, you would want more battery capacity for a machine this robust ... show more

I did a lot of research before I decided to purchase an electric snowblower. I was hesitant because I didn’t know if it would have the power to move the snow we sometimes get here in Wisconsin. I was incredibly happy when I used it for the first heavy snowfall. It moved the snow and I had no problems with battery life. It was quite easy to set up. I’m a 57 year old female, and did just fine. I keep the batteries plugged in all the time just to have them ready. Both batteries are used at the same time. So if you want to have extra on hand you would need to purchase two additional batteries. That said, I had no issues clearing my driveway, sidewalks in front and back. Clearing snow usually takes me about 30-45 minutes. And it ran fine. I was happy when it cleared not only fluffy snow but also heavier wet snow. It threw the snow maybe 7-10 ft. Over all, I would highly recommend if, like me, you don’t want to deal with grass and oil anymore. ... show more

I really love this Snow Blower. It was so easy to use. It would throw snow all the way across my 2 car wide driveway. The batteries would last 1/2 hr. It only takes about an hr and they were ready to go again. I didn't worry about hitting ice and breaking it since it had a steel paddle in it. This snow blower is horrible! On a full charge you only get 15 minutes tops 20 minutes & it goes DEAD! I ENDED UP SHOVELING BY HAND . AND THE BATTERIES ARE EXPENSIVE. BUYERS BEWARE. NOT WORTH THE AGGRIVATION OR MONEY. ‼️‼️‼️‼️
