  • It’s terrific.
Style: 400 LBS Capacity
It’s fabulous. Sturdy & well-made. MUCH better than we anticipated. I’ve always bought full size treadmills but since they all now have minimal handrails we bought this. I was skeptical that smaller size & lower price would be as good BUT even my husband loves it. And it’s unbelievably quiet! It’s far safer with its long handrails, & even has a comfortable front handrail. I was worried it wld be too small & narrow but it’s absolutely as comfortable as big expensive machine. And its compact size makes it usable in our office or bedroom. We’ve only had it a short time but so far all works beautifully. ... show more

  • Quiet and safe
Phenomenal machine for my octogenarian husband (or for any walker up to 5mph, really). Quiet, extremely safe. But, I’ll admit, it took a LOT of effort for these two seniors to move it and put it together. If you can get a couple of strong young people to set it up, I’d do it. But it’s worth it with all the emergency shutoffs. Gives me peace of mind ... show more

The product arrived on time, good value for the price. Just what was needed. It takes a while to assemble but the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

  • Terrific Rehab machine
This treadmill has exceeded all my expectations, so far. I've only had it out of the box & up & running for a couple of days, but I am very impressed. I like the .2 MPH starting speed and the handrails in front and on both sides, for safety. Right out of the box, mine runs smooth and silent. Very sturdy construction, and will definitely handle a 240 lb guy (me) without breaking a sweat. This is the only machine I found that addressed ALL of my issues, for UNDER $4,000.00 - and that's no joke. If you need a treadmill for Rehab from a stroke, or for the elderly, grab this one. My other Exerpeutic machine (recumbent bicycle) is still functioning perfectly and silently, after one full year of fairly heavy use. Good company. UPDATE 3/30/2022 Repeat all the above. I have used this machine nearly every day for the past couple of years, and it's held up fine! I have oiled the belt twice - that's it. For a few days one week it made a very faint sound like it was rubbing on something, but I could not find anything wrong, then the noise went away by itself (shrug). A fantastic and durable machine for this price point. Buy it! UPDATE 9/3/2023 I have had this treadmill for over 3 years and used it approx. 5 days per week, with no mishaps. It is in as good shape today, as when I bought it. I think a product THIS GOOD, deserves a revisiting on the Review, and I will continue to do so as the years wear on. I may someday need a replacement Belt, but I cannot justify ordering one at this time. Good work, Exerpeutic & Thank You. ... show more

  • Defective treadmill
Style: 400 LBS Capacity
The media could not be loaded. Treadmill was ordered Aug 17 and arrived Aug 20. Assembled item. It ran less than 5 sec before stopping and displaying 'er1' msg. Contacted seller by email as directed. They called requesting video. Sent video of defect as requested. Desire to return item for refund.

  • Beware! If you receive a defective unit, returning this product is difficult!
The media could not be loaded. When this product arrived, I had it unpacked and assembled in a few hours. It comes in two boxes and weighs about 150 lbs. I plugged it in, turned it on and was very disappointed when the belt did not move. At least three times, I carefully followed the adjustment and lubrication steps with no change. I next learned that the manufacturer does not provide phone support so I checked their website and found a video that mentioned the importance of the internal drive belt that connects the motor to the walking belt drive roller. I removed the motor cover to discover that the motor was loose (see video) because one of the two bolts that secure it to the unit's frame had broken off at the motor housing (see photos). I assume this happened as a result of rough handling during shipping. The manufacturer did not, over 4-5 days, respond to my e-mails requesting possible solutions such as sending me parts or providing on-site service. An Amazon representative spoke to me and is tracking the issue with the manufacturer. I was offered a refund of a percentage of the cost to compensate for the defect if I keep the unit, but that makes no sense to me since the unit DOES NOT WORK! So, I am returning the unit! Disassembling and packing up 150 lbs of parts in two large boxes is the stage I'm at now. (See Photo) I have two more days before the Amazon-arranged, heavy/bulky shipping providers show up at my house to pick the thing up. My ratings are based on the fact that the motor is very heavy! A better quality hardened bolt should have been used on the motor mount to avoid breakage during shipping and handling. I am assuming that the bolt broke off during handling and shipping. Ease of assembly is relative but I would not consider this 'easy' for the typical user of this type of device. The weight of the base helps to make the assembly difficult for anyone and one step (mounting the control panel) really requires two people. On the other hand I might feel completely different about this product if it worked when I first plugged it in. In any case the manufacturer's lack of any response was unacceptable. Maybe the biggest lesson is that it is important to consider the ramifications of possibly needing to return heavy, bulky items where significant assembly is involved. I'm going to look for a local source that can provide service. Update 4/3/2021: Amazon's piece of this was handled very well. The shipping company they scheduled picked the two large boxes up from my home and took care of all of the labeling etc. Within two days the credit for the full amount of the purchase price appeared in my account. ... show more
