I bought 2 for commercial use. My dumb self didn't put the it with the magnet correctly and saw it roll into the floor. It survived like nothing happened. Definitely worth just for that. It uses 3 AAA batteries not included, beeps decently enough. And it's easy to maneuver the clock. Just dont over roll bc it's very sensitive.

Decent, not great

I have generally used my phone for timers when doing certain tasks in the kitchen. I was intrigued by this device so I bought it. The display is nice. When you take it out of the package, it's surprisingly light, which left me a bit concerned with the build quality. It's definitely on the plastic-y side as far as the materials go. I stuck it to my fridge and the magnet wasn't very strong, but I realized there's plastic film covering the magnets. Once removed it holds well. The setup is easy, you simply spin the dial clockwise to increase time, or counterclockwise to reduce it. Or you can depress the display in particular quadrants for quick time adjustments. The chime is quite audible and it can be heard in another room. I really wish the outer ring was metal, as that would have given it that premium feel that we all want. I'd pay $50 for it if it had that. But for the $10 or so, I paid, it's a reasonable deal. 4 stars.

My partner asked for a large timer with magnet for umpiring, he loves this thing. Holds tight to fence post, he can hear the alarm, and he was surprised to inform me that he can see it well at night and most of the day. He has to "shade it" with his hand only for a few times during the day depending on the direction they face.

It just works as imagine. The ring and most of it is plastic material. Magnets are strong. You can change how loud you want it or just in silent. It has been very useful in my kitchen and to make kids to hurry up.

Weak magnets

It works great as a timer, however it is made of cheap plastic materials (I was expecting glass and metal). The magnets on the timer are so weak that once you put batteries in, the timer will not stick to the fridge. I had to get an adhesive magnet and put it on the back so it would actually stay on the fridge.
