I am surprised and happy with how well this saw works. The only complaint I have is that if the chain binds, its difficult to remove and the chain gets lose on the bar. I find that I need to retighten the chain after each use. I have not had jobs that were so difficult and long that the batteries have died. I usually try to plan ahead and top them off before I start. It was a godsend clearing some branches weighed down by heavy winter snow. I originally bought it to cut firewood when I go camping, and I still haven't used it for that. Go figure! 10-9-2023 Posting an update. I've used this camping 3 times in 2 months and never run our of power in just the first battery. As I stated above, I top off batteries before leaving home. This has been wonderful cutting downed and dried wood from thick bushes and small pine trees. It can cut enough wood for 3 or 4 fires that last 3-4 hours. I will be looking at a mini chainsaw with a longer bar because anything larger than 4" in diameter are difficult.

I used this when I first bought it to cut and move some branches from a tree that fell in our driveway and already really liked it, but today takes the cake. We had a lot of overgrown trees in our front yard that we just really haven’t had time to do anything with but I finally got tired of looking at them and went at it today. I’m not a big person (5’3”) and have never used a big chainsaw (they scare me a little) so I was so happy I was able to use this one to get the job done. I was able to back our truck up to the tree and stand in the bed and safely cut branches down. I went through two batteries and one chain but I trimmed over 3 trees and hundreds of branches. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and cut the big and small branches well. I pictured above the biggest branch I was able to cut vs how big the chainsaw is (don’t judge my technique I have no idea what I’m doing). I did all of that in about 2 hours including some water breaks and the time it took me to move the truck around the yard and put the branches into piles. Now just waiting on the batteries to charge (pro tip:if you have a big job to do plug the dead one up while you use the charged one-I didn’t do that) so I can finish trimming some of the bigger pieces and haul them off. I’ve already ordered more replacement chains to tackle the biggest tree we have to trim later in the week. Overall, the only complaint I have is that due to the safety buttons, it wouldn’t do well for a left handed person. I’m not left handed but I did try to switch hands to reach better and wasn’t able to so I just had to turn in a different direction to use my right hand.

I have a chainsaw and a bar saw, but they are both hard to use on smaller, close limbs. This saw was easy to use and maneuver. I liked that it came with glasses and gloves. My chainsaw is electric and requires a cord. I really like that this one is rechargeable, and no cord is required. I've had 2 different pole saws and they both leaked all their oi out of them when I put them in storage. I haven't had that problem with this saw. It also has a nice carrying case for storage which none of my other saws have. Since I got this one, I haven't used any of my other trimming saws.

Seemed like a good idea. It was terrible. Will be processing return 2 hours after delivery. The biggest issue is that it runs for about 2 minutes and quits. I tried both batteries but both showed a full charge when on the charger. It acted like a thermal overload. It seemed too good to be true at this price with two batteries, and it was. I have been buying and using tools for 55 years. This is far and away the worst product I have ever purchased. I hope it delivers some value for others. By the way, before it, the quit the cutting through a 4-5" branch was not terrible. Not easily maneuvered when cutting. Very accustomed to having two hands on a chainsaw. Next step is to process the return. OK I relented and opted for a replacement instead of return. New saw arrived. I charged the batteries (each took 8+ hours to charge) and went to work. It actually did a nice job cutting up limbs, even ones 5” in diameter. After 39 minutes of intermittent use the motor stated to smoke with an electric smell. The battery also quite, but it cut a lot of wood. Bottom line it did not work the next day. Took 8 more hours to recharge, but saw quite after 1 real small cut. I returned both saws. Problem with the first ine was a defective battery charger.
