This review is not for the product currently being shown. This review is for a case that does not have interior pockets and has a vinyl cover. The product has changed since I made this review. I LOVE this case. I was worried at first about the quality of it, and whether it would hold up to repeated openings and closings, but it seems quite sturdy. The Scribe fits in it through pressure, which leaves the entire screen free. But the pen holder is 10 stars out of 10. The scribe has a magnetic attachment to the pen, but it's not super strong. And most of the cases I saw have the pen in a little fabric loop attached to the side. I did not trust that the loop would be strong enough to keep the pen from falling out when I stuck the Scribe in my backpack or hauled it around the house. THIS case has a separate little compartment that allows the pen to stay magnetically attached to the scribe and to a magnet in the case. It's very easy to remove the pen -- BUT it can't fall out because it's firmly adhered inside its little cubbyhole. With the cover of the case closed, there is no way the pen is falling out. The color on this case attracted me, but when I saw how the pen attached, I was sold. It works beautifully and the cover itself is a gorgeous grape purple. I would fully and heartily recommend this case to anyone who has a scribe and worries about losing the pen.

This is a really lovely premium item. The Scribe is so much easier to hold in a case and this one is beautiful. The cavity for the pen is awesome and secure. The case turns the Scribe on and off, and it feels like it would protect the Scribe if I dropped it. This is a professional looking item that you could take anywhere. I've been using it for a month and the case seems durable and fits perfectly

This case is perfect in every way except one. The magnet just doesn’t stick very well. Leather is great. Fit is perfect and the pencil holder is also perfect. If the magnet was a bit stronger it would be A+

Arrived quickly and fit my Kindle Paperwhite perfectly. The orange is a really rich, bright tone (which is why I picked it - I want to be able to find my kindle in the dark/in my carry on/etc.), and the texture of the material is much nicer than I expected for the price. The faux-leather grain detailing is so nice I don’t feel bad for not springing for a real leather case. Cannot speak to durability as I only got the case this week, but I assume it will last long enough if you aren’t the type to be rough with your electronics. I would buy this product again, and likely will buy more to have some color options for when I get bored of orange.

The quality of the real leather model is really quite nice. I think it's fairly priced in that regard But there's a problem: because they seem to have designed it for you to stuff it with papers and stuff (seriously; it allows for like 1inch deep of stuff - no idea why), when you don't have any in there, the screen cover simply will not align with the screen. There don't seem to be any magnets to help the cover align with the metal in the plastic frame, which is odd, even though something does seem to be there to trigger the screen waking up. The reason this is a problem is that absolutely ANY movement whatsoever then wakes the screen. If you've got this in a bag or are even just carrying it/moving it around the house, the screen's likely on behind the cover. Even just putting it down with the cover closed leaves the screen illuminated, and then if you try delicately to see if you can see the screen on through the gap to fidgit the cover to remedy it, you'll also activate the screen. There's no way of disabling open to wake, so it's a showstopper. You literally don't know if it's gone to sleep, and the case doesn't have a cut out for the power button, so the only way to press it is to open the case! This cover's going to ruin the battery life so it's a return for me. It's a real shame as otherwise it's a very feeling premium product

I love this case because it's simple yet beautiful and functional. Everything I need and nothing that I don't. It fits perfectly, has a very effective spot to hold the stylus, magnets work well to lock the screen while holding it closed and there's a spot just above where the stylus lives that holds extra nibs.
