The SELEWARE 17" Heavy Duty Playground Handles (6 Pack) are technically for playgrounds… but let’s be real, they’ve got way more exciting career opportunities. These things are beefy. Not “kid swings on them once” beefy—more like “yeah, this will hold a grown adult climbing up to a hunting platform in the middle of nowhere” beefy. That’s exactly what I’m using them for—mounting them as steps/handles on a platform stand out in the woods. Because nothing says “great idea” like climbing up a tree in hunting season before coffee. They’ve got a solid grip, feel secure, and don’t flex or complain when you put weight on them. Indoor, outdoor, playground, tree stand—they don’t care. They’re just there to help you get up and not fall down… which is kinda important. End of the day, they’re overbuilt in the best way possible. Whether you’re building a jungle gym or your next questionable outdoor project, these are ready for it.

I picked these up to add a few extra grip points to a backyard playset, and they’ve been a solid addition. The first thing that stands out is how sturdy they feel. They’re metal, have a good weight to them, and don’t flex or bend when you put pressure on them. The 17 inch length gives enough room for different hand positions, which works well for kids climbing around, but they’re also comfortable enough for adults if you’re helping out or using them yourself. The coating has a nice grip to it without being rough, so hands don’t slip easily even with a little moisture. Installation was pretty straightforward. As long as you’ve got the right hardware and a solid surface to mount to, they go on without much trouble. Once installed, they feel secure and don’t loosen up with regular use. I’ve used them on a swing set and also added a couple to a treehouse ladder, and they’ve held up well outdoors so far. The finish seems to resist weathering better than I expected. If there’s anything to watch for, it’s just making sure you space them correctly for the setup you’re working on. These are much more heavy-duty than I was expecting. The construction feels solid right out of the box. The steel is thick, the welds look clean, and overall they give off the impression that they’re built to last a long time—even with regular use. They don’t feel flimsy or hollow like some lighter-duty handles. The grip size is comfortable, and the smooth finish makes them easy to hold without any sharp edges. The mounting design with multiple screw points is a nice touch too—it spreads the load out and makes everything feel more secure once installed. The powder coating looks good and should hold up well outdoors without rusting or fading quickly. Overall, these feel like something you could install once and not have to think about again. Definitely a durable option for playground setups, climbing frames, or similar projects.

I ordered these 17" playground bars for our family cabin. We've put in a loft. When I saw these bars, I decided to order them to create a ladder to the new loft. I have to say that I was surprised at the high quality of these. They're seriously heavy duty. In addition to being a strong metal, there's a bit of texture to the paint, that gives them a good grip. I know that these will stand the test of time. I love the fun color too lol. Honestly these are such a good price for the quality, that I'm planning to order another set for a DiY playset for the grandbabies. I highly recommend these :)
