I was skeptical about ordering this, with reviews commenting on its plastic build but it really feels solid and well crafted. It’s easy enough to read the clock and spins and creates beautiful music with a lot of melodies to choose from. We will see if it holds up to the test of time! ****update after 1 month of using this clock the bottom part that spins around stopped spinning completely, and I changed the batteries two separate times. Great item, as pictured and sound quality is superb. Nice that it rings every hour and not more often as it would be annoying. 3 categories of music choices, easily accessible in the back. Not confusing or diffcult to adjust music pieces or volume. Holiday music has to be selected for it to play. Adjusts to lighting and does not play when dark, also can be kept quiet by blocking the light detector (small 'eye') on face of the clock. Taking down one star not due to the product but for a m because it delivered without any padding whatsoever for this fragile item, and also the automatic recommendation that buyers had also bought batteries.
