This saw is very efficient and powerful. I was very impressed with the longevity of the battery life and it's cutting performance. We used it on soft woods and hard wood trees and it didn't disappoint. The only one negative, is that it doesn't have an automatic oiler for the chain but it's not a deal breaker. It's not hard to remember to press the oiler bulb every now and then when checking the chain tension or something. This is a very good saw at a very good price.

I’m a widow in my mid 60’s and still enjoy working in the yard. I had a lot of tree pruning to get done and ordered this, and I’m very pleased with how well it works! Very easy to use, and I’m saving money not having to hire someone every time I need trimming done in the yard! Win-win!

Unfortunately I have to give a1 star review. I bought this saw over a month ago but I just opened it and used the pole saw once and it worked flawlessly, however it stopped working after the ONE use. I’ve seen other similar reviews.

Very good bang for the buck. In the package you receive the hand saw, an extension pole, 2 batteries, charger, safety glasses, a small empty bottle (unsure what that was for), gloves, a spare chain, directions and everything you need to get going. One nice feature was the batteries have a level button that shows the battery’s charge. The saw has a very easy to adjust chain tightener and it seemed to stay pretty tight for several cuts before adjustments were needed. The pros, the chainsaw worked as expected, cut through limbs like butter. The largest limb I cut was about 6”. The reach of the extension pole worked perfectly and did not flex to the point it was unusable. It was pretty solid. I really like how you can use the extension or just use the saw all by itself. So once you cut the high limb, you can remove the pole and use the saw alone to cut in to smaller pieces. Battery life was very good. It comes with 2 x 4000mah batteries. I was able to cut 40 or so branches averaging 3” in diameter on one battery and it still had life when I was done. The weight of the entire assembly with the pole and battery was very manageable. I am 51 yrs old and my body didn’t feel “broken” when I was done using he saw :) The cons… The battery charger is NOT compatible with other brands. It’s yet another charger I need to keep and remember what it goes to as there is no labeling. The cap for the bar oil is cheap, do not over tighten, it strips easily. The bubble pump on the cap (which is supposed to pump some oil on to the chain) didn’t work at all, not sure there is a good enough seal to be effective. The extension pole is kind of hard to extend. It’s almost like there is a spring on the inside that you need to fight against to extend. If you only extend one of the 2 available extension spots, it works fine, but if you want to fully extend both, you need to camp the attached battery at the bottom of the pole between your feet, then pull very hard with one hand and use your other hand to lock the pole in place. As far as the saw itself goes, it does not have a very strong motor and the chain gets stoped easily if you apply too much pressure HOWEVER, knowing this, just let gravity and the saw do the work for you, this way it maintains speed and torque and with the sharp chain it does cut quickly and smoothly without issues. Overall I think this was a really good purchase for the money. Other name brands are almost twice as expensive for the saw and pole only, no batteries or extra parts. That said, if you just need to do a quick job and you have nothing to get going, this saw has it all to get what you need done. I am unsure of the durability as I have only completed one job with this saw, but in the end, it was under $100 so I cannot complain at all.

Stopped working on my second use. Trying to cut a 1/2 inch branch and it stopped halfway. Battery is full, chain is fine and lubed. Nothing is jammed. It just died. Changed battery, removed chain and cleaned the gear. Still nothing. Seems like electronic failure. Very disappointing. Do not recommend at this point.
