I LOVE this timer in my first grade inclusion class! They love it too! I love that it doesn't need batteries or to be charged, it's like and old school kitchen timer. It's large enough for me to display on my whiteboard and the whole class can see. That is another reason I love it because it has 2 huge stripes ng magnets on the back that hold it to my whiteboard. It also has a stand for if I need to move it or take it with me to recess. It did start to stop ticking and would not go off after almost a whole school year of using it daily. I contacted the company and they were very quick to send a response and replacement. I couldn't recommend this timer and company more. I've actually talked 3 coworkers at school into to buying them! They love it too! The kids were so sad when it stopped working and were so lost without it. They are going to be so excited when they see the new working timer tomorrow!! Thank you Secura!!!

Just arrived today and I was very excited to see it! My initial impression is that this is a durable item. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but the frame is metal and it feels like quality components. I like that it has 3 ways to hang/set up. I used the magnet strips to put it on a magnetic whiteboard and it feels secure - I was kind of wondering how well it would actually stay there. Tried it out and the alarm could be heard across the house in a different room (small 1 level house). I think it went off about 1 minute early. Note: there is NO SWITCH FOR THE ALARM. Maybe because I looked at so many choices that had that option, I assumed it had one. But it doesn’t. I think this will still be great for my intended use, but wish I could adjust the alarm to softer or off. Will update after a few months of use.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this visual countdown timer for my classroom. The size is perfect. It’s big enough that all of my students can clearly see it even from the back of the room. The large visual display makes such a difference, especially for my younger learners who really benefit from seeing time pass. Very easy to use, the final alert ring doesn’t last forever which I actually appreciate, its loud enough for students to hear clearly but not obnoxious or disruptive. I love the flexibility that there is a magnet on the back that you can stick to your whiteboard or you can use the built-in kick stands if you prefer to set it on a table or a shelf I have told all my colleagues about this item. It has been a game changer for transitions and time management in my classroom.

Had it for a little less than a year and all of a sudden the visual timer part doesn’t work - but it consistently was worked before that. So tamper your expectations that this will last you a long while but it was nice while it lasted. I had it set up as the magnet attachment and that honestly never gave me issue unless I had to remove it - that magnet was strong! The alarm was also super loud which is helpful :)

Bought this twice, 5 years apart. Loved it. First used it for my kids as a time-out, brush teeth, 15 min til playtime is over, etc. Then, when they outgrew it, I took it to school for teaching. It's magnetic so it fit perfectly on my board put of the way but in easy eyeshot. It's big and easy to see. The one downside is the alarm sound is rather unpleasant.

This newer version was QUIET! I bought one a few years ago and it had a loud ticking sound but this one was so quiet I thought it was broken! They improved the model, and my kids really like using this to keep track of time. Simple to use, no battery, and easy to read.
