Plenty of audio options for the chime and the volume control is great. It also glows when chiming, which is great because it’s in my bedroom for security purposes. Tip for people with crown molding who have issues attaching sensors to be even with the door, I used a second sticky pad and cut it to the size of the gap in my molding, and then attached the sensor to them both. This is a very good little motion detector sensor for the money. We recently had our pool installed & this was the sensor our builder got us. It came with 2 separate sensors. We installed 1 on our sliding back doors & 1 on our basement door. It works for sure, but the best part about this style sensor is that it’s super easy to turn on & off. You just slide the button up or down & it’s easily reachable while attached to the door. We have a very large home but this is pretty loud. You will hear it for sure. Also, it does not sound like any other random device when it goes off. So it’s got it’s own sound, which is very nice. In other words, you won’t think eh it’s just someone’s car alarm or phone or something else. No. You know it when this thing goes off. If you have children, this is a great little device to install on your doors. And when I say install, I mean, simply load it with the right batteries, stick it up on your door & slide the button to activate. Super simple.

Mailbox is approximately 70 feet away, and it works like a charm. The very same day that I installed it, at 2:53 am we had a homeless lady trying to steal our mail again. The chime woke me and I was able to see where she went and locate her. Let's just say that it won't be happening again :-). Love this thing!

This does what it says. Loud and clear warning that a door has been opened. Had to take away a star because the receiver has to be placed in, pretty much, line of sight of the door. It does not like to try to work when faced with a wall.

The media could not be loaded. My mom has dementia and tries to leave the apartment from time to time. I can hear when she opens the door very clearly from my bedroom. It has a ton of melodies to choose from. If you have many people coming and going, it will become aggravating. I had family visit and we had to unplug it after a while. But it does save your settings when you replug. When I first got it, the sensor kept slipping off the wall because of the adhesive, causing the melody to play without the door opening. I thought someone was breaking in. The first sensor broke when it fell from the wall. Thankfully, it came with a second sensor and it has “stuck” with us ever since.
