I followed the directions... shaked the pill, punctured it with the little key in the hole, placed it in my 25k gallon pool the night before I (planned to) put my cover on. In the morning I noticed a deep blue stain in my shallow end (that I was unable to brush off) and the pill appears to be empty. I sure hope this stain comes out fully in the Spring and now I'm uncertain what the point of this thing is if it just dumped its contents the first 24 hours it was in my pool. --------------- Supplier responded via Amazon messaging and will be shipping me a replacement pill. The stain has also gone down considerably and I don't anticipate it being visible come Spring. Will update the review one additional time come mid April 2021. ------------- Here we are April of 2022. Another season using this and another uneventful opening.
