I really wanted a larger hard drive for mybgrandsons HP computer but I could not find a decent slim drive that would fit. This came up when I googled the drive, my shopping apps told me it was the cheapest available which made me happy as I didn't want to spend a lot on my 8 year olds HP slim computer which he got Christmas of 2020. He used it a few times after getting it, it was used. At one point, he turned it on, there was no operating system found. Having built many computers, I knew what it meant. I had a new regular drive that I installed windows on, it ran fine so I knew the old drive was shot. He only uses it on the weekends so far but the drive has been working well. I repaired and upgraded an old Dell Inspiron 530 that had a defective hard drive. I received the new Segate drive, couple of minutes and booted up the new OS (Windows 10) and installed without an issue. Very pleased to have the PC back up and running. A good value and very easy to install.

These are high quality drives. I have used them for years and they are reasonably priced. These drives can be partitioned easily and can be used as a primary drive or as back up drives. They don't necessarily show up on your drive list so the simplest way to install is to get the Seagate DiscWizard (free download from Seagate). It is an easy download and easy process to get your new drive up and working the way you want it. Seagate also provides excellent customer support on their site which explains exactly how to do it.
