  • Nice product easy to install

  • Dometic has it right
Color: Bone
We had to replace the toilet in our motor home after less than 2 years. Different manufacturer and to replace the ball seal gasket you have to separate the ceramic bowl from the plastic base. Too much hassle and after 3 seal replacements in 3 months the bowl still would not hole water. The Dometic design makes it easy to replace the same seal without taking the toilet apart. The way the water "swirls" when you flush is a much better design than a small spray from the rear of the toilet. Easy replacement and installation. The water inlet for the toilet was in a different location than the previous, other manufacturer, toilet so I did have to make a modification on our motor home. In my opinion this Dometic RV toilet is better designed and easier to maintain. ... show more

  • Good rv toilet
Color: Bone
I intentionally waited several mo the to leave a review to be able to give a better one. We have had this installed for several months now and are very pleased with it compared to the stock commode that came with our RV. It is much heavier duty and feels exactly like a home toilet. It has a soft touch lid that has functioned well since purchase. The foot flush petal seems durable and has not given us any issues. We are currently building our forever home a distance from our current home so we often stay in our RV onsite, so this has been used consistently and frequently as opposed to just an occasional vacation, etc. The flush is good since water comes out of many holes all around the top and swirls down. It stays clean and I just use regular toilet bowl cleaner to maintain it. Overall we are happy with this purchase and can’t really think of any complaints. Recommend! ... show more

  • Replace that stinky toilet with this - you'll be happy.
Color: Bone
Nice replacement for the original stinky Dometic toilet. We had no idea where that odor was coming from until I did a YouTube search. This Dometic toilet is much better made. Has a ceramic base, soft close seat and nice flushing action that swirls around the entire bowl.

  • A new toilet for our RV.
Color: Bone
This was a replacement for our old RV toilet. The plastic base was coming loose from the porcelain bowl and was starting to leak. As it was a 2008 and we live in it full time, I chalk that up to wear and tear. The new toilet showed up via Fedex in good shape. This was packed well with expanding foam. Installation was quick as it was the same model. I used a large trash bag to slip around the old toilet before packing it out of the RV, they are nasty inside. I made sure to put water in the new bowl before opening the foot valve. I had to do some scraping off of the old seal on the flange. I recommend dumping and flushing your black tank first. I was disappointed in the seat. One of the bullets stated the seat was a slow close, but it is NOT a slow close lid, it slams down like all the other cheap toilet seats. The old toilet seat was a slow close and was reused. I threw the new seat away. Minus one star for misleading product info. After installation, I filled up the black tank all the way to the rim as recommended to make sure the flange seal is on right. All is well. ... show more

  • Very nice replacement toilet
Color: Bone
The plastic version that came with the rv was poor quality, flexed and eventually developed the well-known sewage odor issue. Though pricier than I’d hoped, this fit perfectly and is a massive upgrade in cleanliness, flush and durability.

  • Simple install and a great upgrade!
Color: Bone
Easiest thing to install. Two floor nuts, a rubber seal (which was already installed on the toilet), and one hose connection. It claimed no plumbers tape was necessary, but I used it on the threads anyway (just added protection). The install took less than 15 minutes, at a slow pace. Only needed a few common tools: 7/16ths wrench, flat head screwdriver, and a pair of slip joint plumbing pliers. Piece of cake! Replaced a stinky 300 that stunk up the whole camper and a few nearby campsites. It was a nice upgrade. Has a better feel. The old 300 was less than 8 lbs. By comparison, the 310 wins...hands-down! ... show more
