Non Toxic and safe - Sculpey oven bake clay adhesive conforms to ASTM D-4236 and EN 71 safety standards, it is non-toxic and safe to use in your home oven. Simply use in your polymer oven bake clay creation and bake in your home or toaster oven at 275 °F for about 30 minutes depending on the size of your creation. You have to bake this adhesive for it to work. Do not add to clay and leave raw or it will not hold. Perfect for mixed media projects - This oven bake clay adhesive is perfect for mixed media creations! It works on porous surfaces - perfect for use with wood, paper and canvas. Simply spread a layer of the oven bake clay adhesive on a wood frame, cover with oven bake clay and bake for a strong bond. It will not work on materials like glass or metal as those are not porous and you will need to bake your clay pieces and secure those with a silicone or super glue.

Great product to use with polymer clay. It helps your clay adhere to other parts of your peace that you are working on. It does not have an overly thick consistency so it is easy to use. Once you bake it, it does dry nice and firm and keeps your pieces from falling off. I just used on a project where there were a lot of flimsier pieces that I didn't want to smush into the clay. I'm new to polymer clay and happily making earrings to sell but was frustrated when the posts I had glued on with E6000 and Gorilla Glue easily came off. I am so happy I found this product. I had read another clayer's review and she raved about the glue so I decided to try it. Even though you have to bake it for 30 minutes you can bake the entire project all at once so it is worth the time. I'd check your local store before trying to order online, I ordered mine January 28th and it didn't arrive until February 9th. Not counting the day I ordered, that's 12 days waiting for this product. I'm docking a star for that seeing how they didn't even ship it until February 7th, and now it's not even available to buy even if I wanted to re-order. If it's your first time buying it like me definitely check elsewhere first, but if you currently have the product and know you need a new bottle soon, I'd order it before you run out of so you're not without it completely. Just stay on top of keeping it stocked (that is if it becomes available to buy again) It appears to be fine, but I haven't tried it yet. It flows like regular liquid glue, which is a relief after seeing other reviews of it being crusty and dried up. You can see how it flows in the video. ... show more

    • The "Duct Tape" of the Clay World
Liquid Sculpey remains da bomb! There are so many uses for this stuff - and it seems like I find new ones all the time. It is definitely the "duct tape" of my clay kit. It is easily colored - or can be baked to a wonderful translucent non-color. It is amazing for back-filling components and for gluing polymer clay together. One of my favorite techniques is using this do make transfers. Using this will quickly soften up polymer clay that has hardened - and if you don't use too much, it won't change the clay consistency. Fantastic as a glaze - it produces a beautiful stained glass appearance. And veneers - it makes incredible faux veneers! Buffing it after baking just increases the glossy shine, if that's the look you are going for. When I make mosaics I add mica to Liquid Sculpey and bake. One of the craziest looks was adding colored sand - cool technique! This is also wonderful for making "liquid drops" - for example, it's perfect for making an ice cream cone look like it's melting. If you are into molds, this rocks the Richter scale of easiness and painless molding. And texture sheets...mmmm! Did you know you can even cure this with a heat gun? I will try this on literally any surface that can be baked - and I haven't been disappointed yet. I could go on and on about this stuff - I love it and have used it for years. Just talking about it has inspired me and makes me want to go pull it out and play! ... show more
