I've been using Olaplex products for about four years, and No. 6 is one of the few styling products I always keep on hand. I use it after washing with Olaplex No. 4 and No. 5, and it helps keep my hair soft, smooth, and much less frizzy. I have naturally curly hair, and a small amount worked through damp hair makes a noticeable difference whether I wear my curls natural or try to smooth them out. It helps control flyaways without making my hair feel heavy or greasy. My curls stay softer and more defined, and when I straighten my hair, it looks smoother and healthier. I also use No. 0 and No. 3 as a deep treatment before coloring and feel like No. 6 helps maintain those results between treatments. The bottle lasts a long time because you only need a small amount. It isn't the cheapest styling product, but it has become a staple in my haircare routine and is one I continue to repurchase. I love this stuff!! I got an alkaline perm with medium sized rods maybe 4 weeks ago... Now these perms really give you springy curls and take a couple weeks to chill out, then you'll have really pretty popping curls or smooth tight waves that lay together, just depending on how you choose to style it. The only downside to these, is that you MUST MUST condition, condition, condition, your hair or you will have a metric ton of damage and crown of frizzy disasterous mess. If you have ever seen someone with a frazzled looking scarecrow perm - they didn't know how to take care of it properly. This is the perfect product. I wash and condition my hair with normal stuff in the shower, blot dry, and work through 1 1/2 pump through thoroughly, and let it finish air drying, then mist lightly with a flexible hold hairspray and my hair stays great for the day. Actually day 2 I can just mist with water and re-activate it, finger curl as needed, and lightly respray, and it's good to go! I shower at all different times of the day, sometimes that's before bed, I can sleep with this in and just dampen and fix in the morning. Feels very light in your hair, and is not greasy or heavy. I have wavy/ curly hair and live in the Caribbean. This product does WONDERS for my hair. My curls were lost to frizz for a while but this product is a real game changer. It eliminates so much frizz and makes my hair smooth and shiny and gave me my bouncy little ringlets back. It has a lovely subtle smell and doesn’t leave your hair feeling heavy, greasy or stiff/thick with product. Best part is you only need a little bit of it at a time and it’s very effective. My last bottle lasted me a year so this is great value for money imo. Do not hesitate to buy this or any olaplex products. They are SO amazing. No 4 and 5 (shampoo and conditioner) are fantastic. No3 (deep conditioner) is AMAZING esp. when used consistently and I’ve recently fallen in love with no7 (the oil. Again you only need a tiny bit and it works very well!) This no6 and no7 work beautifully together: Apply pea sized amount of 6 to wet hair and rub in, comb through and then apply a few drops of no7 on top and let it air dry.. perfection. ... show more

First of all, A small amount goes along way leaving your hair feel soft and strong leaving a nice shine. This Olaplex No 6 Bond Smother works amazing. I did a search and this product was recommended so I didn’t think it would truly work for my hair but, let me tell you, this product works so good. I’m surprised at hope well this actually works. My husband came home from work and said what did you do to your hair, it’s not frizzy and wild, told him he was like wow. That stuff works great. I have tried so many different products and some cost a lot and would leave my hair oily or crispy and this product leaves my hair soft plus it smells so good! A lot goes a long way. I have long hair and this keeps my hair soft plus tamed. My hair feels soft, not greasy and it doesn’t tangle my hair either. This Olaplex no 6 leaves my hair looking beautiful and flat, not a frizzy wavy mess. I highly recommend this if you struggle with frizz, knotted up hair or dry hair, you will be glad you did. Made my normally curly hair into long waves and separated a bit like when you go swimming in the ocean and it comes out and you’ve been in saltwater and at the beach all day. I don’t know if I would really use this product on my curls, but it is nice for a different look when I wanna feel beachy. It did condition to a certain degree and seal up the hair follicles in a way that I liked however, I will limit the use of this product since I have a feeling it could cause buildup on my hair, which is extremely low porosity. I like the texture that it comes out as with a nice silky foam and it goes on very evenly and disperses nicely. It’s a very small size for the price but a little bit goes a long way. Of course for me that’s not gonna be very many times because I have buckets of hair. This may not be exactly the right product from this line for my hair, but I’m glad I have it anyway. ... show more

Very effective results for a stronger and smoother hair.
