I have bleach hair and was extremely porous. I save it using this product. Every time I wash my hair I use it and leave it on until the next wash. Sometimes I even use it as "gel" My hair stylist noticed the difference in my hair and I told her about the product. I am so happy with it that I subscribe (subscribe and save) to it. It is creamy and white. So if you are blonde it won't be adding pigments that make your hair go brassy. At first I thought it was expensive but it worth every penny. It does not have a strong odor, your can hardly smell it at all. It leaves your hair smooth. This Olaplex No 6 Bond Smother works amazing. I did a search and this product was recommended so I didn’t think it would truly work for my hair but, let me tell you, this product works so good. I’m surprised at hope well this actually works. My husband came home from work and said what did you do to your hair, it’s not frizzy and wild, told him he was like wow. That stuff works great. I have tried so many different products and some cost a lot and would leave my hair oily or crispy and this product leaves my hair soft plus it smells so good! A lot goes a long way. I have long hair and this keeps my hair soft plus tamed. My hair feels soft, not greasy and it doesn’t tangle my hair either. This Olaplex no 6 leaves my hair looking beautiful and flat, not a frizzy wavy mess. I highly recommend this if you struggle with frizz, knotted up hair or dry hair, you will be glad you did. I've been using Olaplex products for about four years, and No. 6 is one of the few styling products I always keep on hand. I use it after washing with Olaplex No. 4 and No. 5, and it helps keep my hair soft, smooth, and much less frizzy. I have naturally curly hair, and a small amount worked through damp hair makes a noticeable difference whether I wear my curls natural or try to smooth them out. It helps control flyaways without making my hair feel heavy or greasy. My curls stay softer and more defined, and when I straighten my hair, it looks smoother and healthier. I also use No. 0 and No. 3 as a deep treatment before coloring and feel like No. 6 helps maintain those results between treatments. The bottle lasts a long time because you only need a small amount. It isn't the cheapest styling product, but it has become a staple in my haircare routine and is one I continue to repurchase. A little of this goes a long way — just a small amount smooths frizz and flyaways without making hair look greasy or weighed down, which is usually the tradeoff with leave-in products. Great for smoothing hair before heat styling, and it also helps curls/waves hold their shape longer through the day. Doesn’t leave any sticky or crunchy residue once it’s worked through. Smells clean and not overpowering. Works well as a quick touch-up product too — just a little on dry hair mid-day tames flyaways without needing a full restyle.
