This was my first time using this hairspray and it does what it says. It has great holding power for my super straight hair! And, it does the job better than a more expensive hairspray I've used for a long time. However, I could only give this product 4 stars as the smell of the hairspray is not pleasant. Before ordered the hairspray, I noticed a few other customers had remarked on how bad the hairspray smells. But, I figured it couldn't be that bad. I was wrong. The only way I can describe the smell is like dirty socks. When I use it, I have to spritz my hair with another, better smelling hairspray to mask the order of the Nexxum. It's a great product, but they need to make it more pleasant smelling. I don't think I'll buy this hairspray again, only because of the strange smell it has. ... show more

I have fine, thin, curly hair. This gives good hold without weighing down my hair and holds my hair style. It doesn't get crunchy. Lasts a reasonable amount t of time. In August 2025 i ordered three cans of hairspray. I’ve used this brand for years. These three cans ALL were defective. The sprayers are the problem. After just a few uses the sprayers dtopped functioning properly. A few times the spray was good, then not. Short shots of spray worked sometimes but not long enough to do the job. Plenty of product in the can but spraying mechanism not anywhere near acceptable. I will not be buying this brand again. Disappointed and out about $35+ ... show more

Spray is perfect on my hair. Unfortunately, the spray stopped working when there was plenty left. It feels like the nozzle clogs. I’ve tried cleaning it with no luck. I thought it was a one time thing but it happened again. I am disappointed that I will have to find another spray
