Purchased in 2017 and it has worked great! I like that it rotates, the arms are height adjustable, and the feet rotate to accommodate a variety of plug locations. The screw holding the rotation assembly to the vent mount came unscrewed after 6 years but I was able to easily screw it back together. I don't believe this model is sold anymore. Have this in my 2018 Tundra and its attached next to the radio display. Keeps the phone out of the way but easily visible for maps. Securely holds a Samsung Note 9 with a case, no issues and easy to mount and remove the phone.

    • nice unit, but difficult to remove phone once it's in.
The release button is on the back, so when you've got it on the dashboard, it's difficult to reach behind the unit and release the side holding buttons to take it out unless you somewhat disrupt the connection between the back holders and your air vent louvers.

Holds my phone. BEWARE! if your phone has a case on it it may not fit. My phone has a case that accommodates the S-Pen. I have to slide the pen up to let the clamp slide in the slot for the spen so it works. This mistake is my fault for not measuring. It works for me and I'm happy.

This is a really good mount for the most part. My only 2 issues are that I can't turn the one knob anymore to loosen it and also the plastic makes a lot of squeaky sounds which is REALLY irritating but it has lasted longer than any other mount I have used before and its able to be placed in multiple convenient locations. Overall, I would still recommend this mount but I hope they find a way to make it not so loud from the vibrations of driving. ... show more

This is the 4th window mount I've bought from this manufacturer. I have 3 in different vehicles so I can transfer my GPS between them effortlessly. They'd also hold mobile phone or a tire pressure monitor really well. I have one with a flexible but stiff long arm, two like this with a medium length flexible but stiff arm and one with a rigid short arm. The long arm is great if you have a very deep dash in an RV or VW New Beetle. This one is great for a standard dash. I don't like the short rigid type as its rigid arm doesn't allow you to bend it so that your device is hard up against the dash. With the device hard up against the dash you don't get your device shaking. I also like the way there's a lever attached to the suction mount to ensure adhesion - just make sure the glass is clean and it'll hold really well. ... show more
