Excellent iPhone Charger for Long Trips
Style: Vent
I purchased this charger to handle using my iPhone 8 on a cross-country drive. I wanted to be able to run Google Maps and stream bluetooth audio during my trip and keep the phone visible at all times. This mount worked perfectly. Having the Qi charger meant no messing with cords anytime I needed to take my phone, so everything stayed neat and tidy and the quick release button on the back made removal a piece of cake. I didn't use the included car charger to power the unit because I already have a Anker PowerDrive 5 installed ... it worked great with that and kept my phone charged without issue. ... show more

Turned Out Fine
Style: Vent
I THOUGHT this had a problem but it didn't. I used on a long trip and was dismayed when my phone announced it was down to 15% charge. I was panicked because this had been fine for months and now I needed to find my way through the city to my motel, in the dark, in an unfamiliar city. I lasted but I could not get this thing to charge! Then I solved the mystery now that I'm home. I had gotten the car washed in prep for the trip and discovered today that they had pushed up the legs and the phone was no longer sitting in good position! Problem solved and note a to do for the next wash. ... show more

Vent mount is horrible
Style: Vent
Does not have a heal brace so the phone is always tilted forward and down. The rubber mount slowly works off the vent and falls with no way to tighten or secure it. Grip release (top center) is behind the phone and hard to reach. The charging function is the only thing that works well. Disapointed because overall I have had good results from Scosche products. ... show more

Works really well
Style: Vent
I purchased this for my wife because I have been quite pleased with mine. I have had mine for two years and it works very well. It attaches easily to the vent and remains in position. It charges our Samsung phones at fast charging speed. If I had only one negative comment, it rattles a little when open without a phone in it. ... show more

worked great at first! now no longer wireless charging!!
Style: Vent
I bought this based on a co-workers recommendation and when it first arrived it worked perfectly. I have an Otterbox commuter case on phone that allowed wireless charging without removal from case. After about 3 weeks it will no longer wireless charge with case on and will wireless charge with case off but has a very noticeable heat buildup and seems to charge much slower than it did originally. As how it functions as a phone holder I really like it and have resorted to plugging in my usb cable and just using it as a phone holder rather than fuss with case removal to get a slow wireless charging experience that I fear is getting to hot and may damage the phone if I continue to wireless charge. ... show more

works great
Style: Vent
i use it every time I'm in the car. fortunately the vents in my Honda are perfectly positioned for this, so it holds the phone at the perfect spot and charges the phone without connecting a charger to the phone
