I was skeptical at first, but now I'm a believer. I use this to eliminate the smell of vaporized cannabis. I don't smoke anything. But OMG I can't even smell it after I exhale when I have this candle going in the same room. I was able to leave my bedroom door open and no cannabis smell escaped- and I'm not talking about vapor, I mean the fresh weed scent which is much stronger. I got a second opinion from a friend and he agreed that it just smelled like a candle, but no MJ. I do let it burn for about 30 min before I start for weaker scented candles, and for stronger smelling candles I just burn it after I finish to eliminate lingering smells. You can't smell the candle's scent until it's sufficiently melted and not all scents are equal in strength. I bought the sandalwood candle and it does smell like sandalwood.I vaped right next to this thing in the living room and no one could smell it! I also recently purchased the 'Flower Power' candle because I found a fragrance description for some of these at southlandtrade dot com. Flower Power: "Bohemian blend of fragrance features a kaleidoscope of wild flower essences, morning dew, yland, pink peony, amber, sandalwood and soft patchouli all fused together with the subtle sweetness of papaya and apricots." IT SMELLS AWESOME! It's unfortunate that the seller(s) are TOO LAZY to put a description for each scent, they were easy enough to find on other websites. I wasn't even considering it until I saw the description and I'm glad I did. It's my favorite now. Most of the candles are obvious about what they might smell like, but some of them are not so obvious. Here are some other descriptions of less obvious scents, I haven't tried them yet, but maybe you'll want to: ------------------------------ Some I have use, others I have not. Sandlewood - Obviously Sandalwood incense. (THIS IS NOT A VERY POTENT SMELL- I'D DESCRIBE IT AS A MEDIUM STRENGTH) Flower Power: "Bohemian blend of fragrance features a kaleidoscope of wild flower essences, morning dew, yland, pink peony, amber, sandalwood and soft patchouli all fused together with the subtle sweetness of papaya and apricots." These candles are great if you burn them correctly. Most of these candles have metal wicks. I have no problem burning them to where little wax is left. I used to sell candles for PL. Have some tips below. You must trim your wick to 1/4“ each time you burn it. If not it WILL smoke and cause black around the glass. METAL wicks & long wicks smoke more than others, keep it trimmed to 1/4”. Burn these candles at least 3 hrs to start off. Burn at least 2-3 hrs each time. You WILL get a “tunnel effect” if you burn them less time than that. Rule of thumb for candles with 1 wick. For all candles average burn time is dependent on width of candle circumference and number of wicks. 1” width of candle needs 1 hr of burn time 2” width - 2 hrs 3” width - 3 hrs Hope this helps! ... show more

The candle smells good. It's light but fragrant. It does keep the smoke smell away. The downside is it burns straight down, so the wax on the side is not used which is a waste. Make sure to get a long lighter after a few uses you will need it

As far as removing odor, I'd give it 4 stars. The scent is clean and pleasant. As far as burn time, id rate it 2 stars... it burns too fast, so I wouldn't say you get value for money. Especially if it's something you want to burn on a daily basis to control odors. Today marks the 3rd day burning the candle (lighting two to three times per day and blowing ot out to make it last) and I only have a quarter of the candle left. As far as Quality... I'm sure if they'd use soy wax instead of what seems to be paraffin mixed wax, it would last a lot longer and burn cleaner. Having worked as a Quality Assurance supervisor, I know there's always room for improvement, thats why I hardly ever give 5 star reviews to any product, unless it's an above and beyond product. ... show more
