I am so happy with this phone holder! I drive an older Mercedes. (1981) There are no cup holders so I thought a vent phone holder was my only option. The issue is my vents are deep set and none of the vent phone holders I found were deep enough to work. I found this holder accidentally. I thought I would try it believing I would have to return it. It fits really well. I have used it several times, it does not come loose, it doesn’t fall out, and it holds the phone well. I have a smaller iPhone, but it seems like it would hold a larger one as well. I do not have to take the phone out of the case either. I am able to charge my phone while it’s in the holder if needed or I can charge another device. My car is a diesel so it shakes but the phone does not budge and the holder does not come loose. I am thrilled beyond measure I got this phone holder for my car! Just another note: my cigarette lighter sits vertically rather than the horizontal ones you see on newer cars. I have used other Scoshe phone mount products over the past 10 year, but this was my worst experience so far. This phone mount I bought here on Amazon, was to replace the same exact one I bought locally here at Walmart. The first one had ALSO broke a month after with regular daily use to work and back. When the spring loaded arms stopped moving without force. I returned it and I opted one more time to try again but on Amazon for the simpler return policy. This mount has gone about 1 month with no problems again until the Hawaii 84F heat apparently softened the plastic enough to reshape with the new permanent curves (I drew lines to help show). As it was already non-functioning, I dismantled it to see if this was fixable but the platic is so thin and quality is such that I am going for other mounts advertised as heavy duty so hopefully they have a lifespan of more than 1 month. Well worth having to wiggle it a bit to fit onto rear view mirror. For the price, it's a good product and does the job. Have readjust now and then, and would I be surprised if at some point the plastic could get broken -- no, but I've been using it for several months now, and all is good.

I was sent a mount that was used and broken. I sent it back. The top button wouldn't work. So, while I could adjust the bottom feet of the mount with the bottom button, I couldn't open the arms of the mount to put my phone in. This seemed like it would be great if it actually worked.

Is a nice looking holder. However it doesn’t stay in the cigarette lighter. It keeps falling out. The side clamps to hold the phone will break off in about 6 months or less. This is my 2nd one and both did the same thing. Not buying a third.
