I needed to replace my old scissors that were not very sharp, and the handles were starting to crack. I found this set at a nice price, so I gave them a try. I’m glad I did, because they work great. I placed one scissor near the front door, for opening Amazon Packages. I placed two in the kitchen, one for cutting food items, and the other for any tasks requiring scissors. I placed one next to the freezer, and the others around the house, making it easier to find a pair of scissors when needed.

These are scissors. Nothing too special. They are sufficient for home and office use. They are put together nicely and sufficiently sharp for cutting paper, twist ties, etc. They are not made for heavy duty cutting (multiple sheets). They are not flimsy and are made fairly well. They are properly aligned so that the blades cut as you would expect without any additional effort needed.

As a mama of five kids scissors are constantly disappearing in this house. I ordered these to replace all of the ones that have gone missing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that these were decent quality, especially given how inexpensive they are. I’m actually considering ordering another set to have on back up. I’m not claiming these are fabric, cutting quality but for every day around the house scissors to cut tags off clothing and make just normal cuts that you might need these are perfect.
