Smooth ride and very versatile

My child loves the option to sit or stand while riding. It’s fairly easy to put together and feels stable on the sidewalk. The lights are a great touch for safety and style. It lost one star because the seat adjustment can be a little stiff, but otherwise, it’s a fantastic gift! My only complaint would be better straps. Decent battery, value for money, fun and stability is great.

I was very hesitant to buy my daughter (8 y/o) a hoverboard (safety reasons) but that was the only gift she asked Santa for. I googled and googled and came across the scooter attachment and am very, very happy with the purchase. She LOVES it! Easy to assemble just calibrate the hoverboard before attaching the scooter and adjust every so often. It works so well!

Weight distribution affects how this operates

I bought this for my 11 year old grandson. He is 5’3” tall and around 135lbs. The weight limit is 260lbs. The battery is not powerful enough to handle his weight. When contacting the seller it was explained to me that he will benefit by standing up on the hoverboard only. The weight distribution of the person’s body will change how the hoverboard runs. It’s really cool but frustrating for an 11 year old who expected to be able to ride it like a go kart for a while. It’s seems to be well made and is fun for my 8 year old grandson who is obviously smaller.

May work for a little while but it WILL NOT LAST!
We bought this in May of 2019 for my sons birthday. He rode on it about 10 times before we moved across country that November. Since the move he has been on it maybe 15-20 times. Yesterday he got on it and after about 5 minutes of riding, it suddenly stopped and we cannot get it to work. It was on the charger the night before so it had a full charge. We put it back on the charger and its saying it has a full charge. When plugged in the lights and sounds will come on until you unplug it and then, nothing. I realize it’s been almost 2 years but shouldn’t it last longer than 2 years especially since he’s used it maybe 30 times??? He’s devastated and now he’s either out of luck or I have to buy another. I’m tired of companies knowingly making these cheap products. Do not buy these off of Amazon. Spend a little extra money and go to a reputable store. The companies that sell in here are from over seas and they do not care if they last or not.
