    • Arrived with bad front wheel
My Hover-1 beast buggy arrived with a front wheel that had bad bearings. The wheel will not move left to right very well making the car practically useless. I submitted a troubleshooting ticket to hover-1 on January 15th asking them to resolve the issue by sending a new wheel, but as of February 3rd I have heard nothing back from them. I have until February 13th to return this item, and if I do not hear back from them soon I definitely plan on doing that. I purchased the extended warranty with this but I refuse to use that for a manufacturer's defect straight out of the box. Update: reducing this to a one star. After over a month of waiting for customer service to respond, their response was to return the product because them delivering a faulty product is not covered by their warranty. The product is outside of the return window now so I am basically stuck with a product that they sent faulty. Between their lack of customer service and quality assurance I will never do business with this company ever again. I would recommend no one else does either. 2nd Update: Because customer service did not respond in a timely manner, they apologized and honored a replacement request. They did not just send a new wheel, they provided a brand new beast buggy. While the process was not ideal, the outcome was what I expect from a company that cares about its customer. ... show more

<<<<Buggy Kart Purchased: Feb 2023>>> We have a Swagtron 10" off road BEAST of a hoover board, it's heavy and fast. I read all the "okay" and "unsafe" reviews and purchased the buggy kart and an additional aftermarket 6" tire to be able to use this safely. To my delight when I opened the kart and pulled out the tire is WAS a 6" tire! I looked on the box and the packaging still said 8" but as you can clearly see in the picture the tire itself says 6x2 and the ruler doesn't lie. I assembled only the items from the box and it works great (no aftermarket hacks). No bouncing, tire wobble, or fear of it being dangerous. I held off on my review for SIX months to MAKE sure we didn't have any accidents. My daughter is 12yrs and is aware that she shouldn't make sharp turns at high speeds, but she rips ALL around the neighborhood. Sidewalks, streets and grassy meadows. NO ISSUES!! I'm so glad that the manufacturer realized that their product was needed in the marketplace but is also needed to be safe. Thank you for fixing!! ... show more

Kids love these but they are soooo heavy. It kills the batteries in about 10 minutes. Thats with constant full power spins and whatever else they can manage to do trying to pop wheelies and such

It wasn't the easiest to assemble but only remember to put screws in seat just dont tighten until all are at least in. I was iffy about this with reviews on the wobbling front wheel. The beast cart has a very large wheel. We love it. We did learn about halfway through the hover battery, tighten the turn knobs connecting front wheel to seat. No one got hurt and it was hysterical but definitely tighten. It's fun and sturdy and my daughter loves it and so do I. ... show more

    • Hover-1 sells junk. Do not waste your money.
I purchased these to use with a Hover-1 titan hoverboard. They are advertised as all terrain. The product video on Hover-1's YouTube page shows a man riding down a muddy trail. My boys attempted to use these on a well mown even lawn. The single wheel on the front of this cart attachment seems cheap. The frame feels flimsy for what it is. The foot rests are poorly designed. while attached to the hoverboard by the Velcro straps it slides around and scratches up the hoverboard. The Hover 1 Titan hoverboard is junk as well. I followed the instructions given to me by Hover 1 to recalibrate the boards. Even after recalibration, they would do nothing but go into an alarm mode every few minutes. It was to the point my kids couldn't use them. Hover 1 sent new boards and had me destroy the old ones. I ask what would occur if the new boards had the same problems and I was told let's just hope the new boards don't have the same issue. Well, the new boards did the same exact thing. I contacted Hover-1 again. After a week of waiting on a response, I was told that the manufacturer warranty had expired. On an open ticket problem..     • Fun for hoverboard
Is a fun little seat for a hoverboard, it is easy to assemble and has Velcro to attach it and detach it so it’s really easy to put away. It is pretty sturdy and stays in place well. We really do enjoy it.

I wrote this with the sole purpose of helping all of you guys out there with this horrible front wheel problem WIDELY reported ( shame on manufacturer). The original user that came up with the idea was the reviewer Pi4u, and I just built upon it. The fix consists on placing 2 bungee cord 24" ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074H9Y31L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) using the configuration shown on the pictures. They basically go around the " neck" of swivel rotating assembly for wheel. What this would do, is to tighten the motion of swivel wheel considerably, making the turns less sharp and the kart less agile, but eliminating the uncontrollable shaking at medium and high speeds that , in honesty, makes this product dangerous. I hope that manufacturer pays attention to this post, cause they could fix this problem with a little bit of effort considering the principles that we used in this home made fix. Results may vary depending on the tire size of your hoverboard, because this shaking problem would be much more intense if the back tires are bigger that front wheel due to the distribution of mass at high speeds, that causes slight lifting of front wheel triggering the wobble. Also. please be careful to screw the base of swivel wheel CENTERED on go kart front mount, because that was affecting my kart even more due to instability of weight distribution on front wheel triggering wobbling . ... show more
