My main irritation with the files I had is that they weren't consistant with which side the handle "dimple" is on; (e.g.,) the file by my recliner had the dimple on the rough side, the one in my bedroom had the dimple on the fine side; I'd start to file, only to flip the file around. I have a more expensive version of this product - but I cannot tell any real difference from this nifty little discount package. These work for occasional use - the quantity means I can distribute them around - on the desk, next to the keyboard, in my nail clipping kit, and elsewhere. They work fine. I have used one daily for months without any issue whatsoever. I am not a "nail professional" so take this as an amateur recommendation - it's a real product and it works. They are exactly what they look like - they are an inexpensive and functional nail file. Don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed. Use and enjoy.
