My son got this for his birthday and both of my kids (11 and 14) love it. It is sturdy and lots of fun. Great buy. Only complaint is the fog machine has (LOUD) sound effects, and that system broke within like 15 minutes. It runs on water but is not water-proofed well, so the wires shorted out immediately. As my son said, it was a poor design. We are just not using that feature, and my kids are perfectly happy with the go kart! I like that it is speed-limited by the hoverboard, so it feels safer than some other options.

My kids love this thing. It's a spectacle when they ride down the sidewalk at our park with the music and lights and laser blasters going. We've had hours of fun on this and it is a must have for kids with hoverboards. Absolutely worth the money for the entertainment/fun factor alone. If you went to a go-kart track you'd spend this on two laps around a track - so the quality issues, while they are a bummer, aren't a deal breaker and I would still buy this again and will probably buy another one when this one gets too beat up. The seat is comfortable and the metal parts/hardware are heavy duty and work well. The wheels and velcro attachments suck, so it's interesting that parts or this are very high quality good design while others are very low quality and poorly designed. The velcro straps aren't a good design. They are not durable enough material and the way that they are sewn on causes them to easily catch on the ground. The stitching that holds the velcro onto the straps came unraveled in 2 of the 4 straps provided. We had to sew them back on. When riding, the straps scrape/drag on the ground at times, and the straps don't hold up to this and are ripping/tearing. The pads on the feet that sit on the hoverboard aren't flat, so it has caused some abrasions on the hoverboards. The jet engine attachment on the back is attached to the seat by a thin lever of metal, and it sticks out such that when the kids go fast and wheelie it smacks the ground. There should either be a mechanism to prevent wheelies altogether (no fun) or a better design so the jet pack doesn't stick out so much and essentially work as a lever that pushes on the ground when the unit wheelies up. It hasn't broken off yet, but it's only a matter of time. The wheels aren't holding up well, there are chunks coming out from going over rocks and debris. My kids are very small and young, the heaviest is 45 lbs, and my wife and I have never ridden it, so I'm surprised this is an issue and would warn others with larger/older kids.

I got the black one since it seems most the reviews for the other colors there were issues with parts. It came with the bars already assembled with out the washers. You need to listen to the other reviews and put the rubber washers and metal ones in the right place. I also ended up cutting some of the foam they wrapped the parts in and used double sided carpet tape to stick to the underside of where it touches the sensors on the hoover board and it seemed to give better results. One of my blasters seems to be leaking water so I will contact customer service, I guess I could remove a star for that, but Im sure they will sort me out. The only problem I am having is the beeping of my hooverboard when we go fast. I think its a saftey feature. Our streets were repaved so its FABULOUS. We rode it on an area that wasnt repaved, and I think if you dont have a strong hooverboard your your going to lag. If you dont already have a hooverboard and are buying this, I say get one that is strong with heavy-duty wheels to get some real excitement outta this. I bought this beccause my son wanted an electric scooter. But I this was a cheaper option, until we get to a major holiday like Christmas or birthday, plus he was always too scared to use the hoover board outside while standing. Im 5'2 112lb and I ride on it with my 3 year old in my lap. When you first get on you gotta sit first, hold handle and turn on. Grab other handle immediately. Makesure everyone is standing far back because it will zoom you until you figure out the controls of it. We started on the sidewalk where there was grass on each side. Everyone that first gets on looses control and doesnt know how to stop, the grass saves you until you get your bearings. So much fun!!!

The item came in used. It was also missing parts and was half assembled. The item was also missing critical bolts that are required for it to attach the main frame to the handles. It did not meet the specifications of the manual as the hardware was removed by whoever had it last. Very disappointed with the seller to be selling this unit as if it were new. I returned it with the option for amazon to replace the item and now the estimated delivery date is 30 days from now. 2 Attempts at getting this corrected by seller. I am a verified purchaser of this product. In November I ordered 2 (1 red and 1 blue) The red one came in perfectly. All of the pieces meets the specification as mentioned in the manual. The blue one as the pics will indicated, was missing a critical step in the manufacturing process. I asked for a replacement, estimated 30 days. So I opted in to get a black one delivered sooner. it arrived 1 day late even though amazon said it arrived on time. the black was had the same issue. The mounting and the velcro unit that should have been attached out of the box were not attached. The black foam padding which per the factory manual should have been there to be assembled by the user was already attached for some reason, and no additional hardware was provided to assemble the disassembled piece. So I ordered 1, red, 1 blue, and 2 replacements for the blue one, only the red one was good and the rest is considered defective out of the box. 25% for any manufacturer is not a good number to have. Feedback from using the only unit that worked. 1. Velcro is not a permanent solution. I hope the manufacturers will find a stronger mounting solution for the hoverboards to the unit. 2. Only the red one met the picture description. the blue and the black one all had the off-colored front wheel. The picture shows a black wheel on all units, the blue one and the black replacement unit, which came with a clear colored wheel that looked like it was lower quality. 3. The blue one was defective from the start and was missing parts. The black replacement that came in 1 day late for the blue one, not only came out of the box defective much like the blue one, but was also missing the hardware and the manual. Overall... All I can say is.... what the @#$#@$!

This is great! Not only does it light up you add a little water to each ones and it fogs which makes it that much cooler. The sound effects are great too! One sounds like "Turbo" from the Turbo movie. If you ask my now 8 year old "It makes me go faster" *Parents the lights are bright so adds a little extra for others to see them when riding around in neighborhoods. No batteries. Comes with charger. Only cons : instructions are terrible so do what makes sense. The flag should be a bright reflective color. It's black so I personally think it defeats the purpose of the flag.

The buggy attachment operates well enough. But the problems started well before it was running. They included the wrong directions for it which made assembly confusing to say the least. The directions were labeled correctly and the buggy was the right item. My guess is they updated it or changed how they manufactured it but didn't change the directions to match. There were pre-drilled holes in the directions that were clearly not on the buggy and the part attached at the end of the rod, not through a small bracket attached to the side of the rod as the directions showed. Also, the velcro can get rubbed through if you aren't paying attention. I would say that could be an issue with our specific scooter but they included extras so they know it's an issue. Instead of finding a better design they gave the band aid of a few pieces of velcro.
