This Segway Ninebot was an essential ride for getting around the city of Seattle. I really liked how durable it felt and how well it handled different surfaces around the city. Whether I was riding on regular pavement, rougher patches, or just getting from one place to another quickly, it always felt solid and dependable. There is a bit of a learning curve at first if you are not used to balancing on something like a bike or skateboard, but it does not take long to get the hang of it. I liked that you can adjust the speed in the app as you get more comfortable with riding, turning corners, and overall control. That makes it a lot more beginner-friendly and gives you room to build confidence before opening it up more. Another thing I appreciated was how quiet and portable it was. It is easy to take with you, store, or load into a vehicle, and it rides without a lot of noise. The range was decent for city use and worked well for what I needed. My only real complaint is that I wish it were a little faster. Overall, this was a fun, practical, and reliable scooter that both my wife and I enjoyed using. In fact, I liked it enough that I planned on buying another one after this one was stolen from the back of our vehicle. That alone probably says the most about how useful it was. ... show more

Easy to set up. Perfect for my kids 8, 13. I was worried about the height and my 8 yr old is short, but it’s fine. Impressed with how easy it is to ride, way more stabile than a hover board. They are having a blast. Blue tooth speakers work well.

My 9-year-old loves this! She tried a family member's and liked it, so this was her Christmas gift. She uses it almost every day, and the neighborhood kids have enjoyed playing with it too. She has used this to accompany my SO on his runs, which is nice because she can't keep up on the long runs, nor does she want to. It can go pretty fast, but I love that I can control it from my phone. The Bluetooth option to play music is cool, too. We are 3 months in to frequent use, hoping it lasts a while! ... show more

My experience was pretty bad you need a flat spot in order to start it on many people have to buy third party add on kickstands in order to get it to stance of the handles vertical one really horrible terrible experience was that it's impossible to take off the steering column that used by your feet once you put that sucker on forget about getting it off so if you want to get a rapid detachable version you need to get an add-on kit which i have no experience on but you better use that before you put this sucker on so give up of all hopes of thinking it's going to be portable you can just take the handle off and stick it into your trunk or tuck it away in a corner that handle once it's put in that steering column once it's put in ain't coming off It's totally controlled and steered by your feet and your knees so if you have any kind of gate issues it's going to be a huge risk to drive around in this thing getting on it was impossible for me ... show more

As of right now; it’s too early to give a “full-outside report” on this FUN-machine; (due-to-our extreme winter ❄️ weather conditions remaining up here.) So,.. after downloading the app: going thru the instructional portal, & it’s functions and features & fully charging up the battery 🔋 I’ve taken upon the indoor task of balancing & maneuverability (inside my house) which has become a “breeze” !
