This is my son’s third hover board. He was disappointed because it was a basic color black but when he started to ride it he light just as much as the board did. He verbally said woh! I love it!! Look at all the colors! I hope this one last longer than 3 months unlike the other two

Let me start off by saying this thing is awesome. The lights; the wheels that are hypnotizing, it’s truly a badass hoverboard.. HOWEVER; it is fully charged and will randomly TURN OFF while in use and make your kids go flying to the ground. Total safety issue. The only way it will turn back on is if you plug it back in and then turn it on, which then shows it’s fully charged and then you repeat the process over and over again. It turns off incessantly. This is a HUGE defect for a hoverboard in this price range. I’ve had jetsons that have lasted years and are half the price. Mine also came cracked and bent in the middle when you put weight on it. It’s almost like it’s missing screws to hold it together but I don’t see anything cosmetically that would cause it to separate that way. ... show more

This is the larger Hover-1 hoverboard in their line. This version goes up to 7 mph with a 9 mile range. It states it can handle 220 lbs and has a lot of lights flashing. It looks pretty cool when riding in the twilight hours. It also has bluetooth so your kids or you can rock out to some tunes while riding around. My oldest uses this and he learned to ride this very quickly. He never used a Hover-1 before, and he got on this and did it in under 30 minutes. My daughter who is 6 had a bit more trouble. It takes a while to get used to the feeling they say because when you step on it it wants to roll away from you. After getting this, and the smaller version, I got the Go-Kart attachment to use with this. We use this around the park, and it goes fast. It feels faster when riding low on the ground as a go-kart compared to standing. We don't have a Hover-1 attachment, but a universal one and it works. The Hoverboard takes 5 hours to charge and the only indicator telling you it is charging is on the AC adapter. It says not to leave it plugged in for more than 5 hours. It feels hefty and well made. My kids enjoy it, and I like seeing them zip around it in it. You have to make sure they have pads and helmets because if they haven't used one before they will most likely. ... show more
