Cannot really say how this will work on a bigger, heavier bike, but it works really well with my Iron 883. Don't have to go up really high as I mostly use it when I do my monthly detailing. Holds the bike really steady, but then I position it with only either the rear wheel up and the front still making contact or vice versa. Cleaning the wheels is a pain but this jack makes it a lot easier. I centered it once just to see how steady it would hold the bike and was quite surprised at the stability sans the tie downs (don't recommend doing this, though). Overall, very pleased with the quality of construction and functionality... with my bike anyway. ... show more

I am very pleased with my purchase. This works smoothly and easily with one hand. I can hold the bike with one and raise it with the other. I used a small piece of wood to compensate for the side stand sticking down on the left side. Very steady Very pleased....

The lift was great for getting a heavy Street Glide off the ground but the rubber pad on top started coming up and it buckling. Makes the lift look cheap.

I am using it for my 2001 XR650l with a ground clearance of over 11" I almost have the jack topped out, that said the bike never moved while I was removing and installing a new lowering link. So overall a very stable platform very easy to use (just crank it up) as for sturdiness I didn't have any problems lifting this 345 lb. bike. Not a bad product for the price point. ... show more
