I brought this as a gift to myself for my 50th birthday. I live in the city but wanted a comfortable bike for the trails or just cruising the neighborhood for a little cardio. I love it. Sturdy, pretty. I’m 5’3 so the reach for the brakes makes you sit toward the front of the seat, which isn’t as comfortable when your sitting further back on seat. I almost paid $50 to have this put together...thankfully, I tried to do it myself first! Pretty simple—took me about 45 min with limited help from my son Great looking bike—super comfy seating and smooth ride! Love it

Delivery to Honolulu by UPS was excellent. Assembling the bike was NOT easy. The rear fender support bar had to be replaced because the fender support bar in the shipment was too short once the tires were inflated. I would highly suggest someone contact Schwinn as the assembly line included the WRONG support bar. Because of this , my husband had to take the bike to McCully Bike in Honolulu where they installed the PROPER support bar. This cost us $40. See the photo of the fender where they had to drill another hole. Also if you look close , I have the fender support (wrong) resting on the tire. Otherwise , I love my Schwinn Bike. This was the worst purchase I have made on Amazon. I reluctantly ordered a bike online since stores are closed. I should have stuck to my gut. Assembly was ok. I am not skilled at building bikes and although the directions were for two different bikes, I was able to figure that out after some further research. The front fender was crooked and I scratched up the fender trying to straighten it to an acceptable level by tightening the screws. I can get over that, and it ended up looking great parked in my garage. Too bad I bought a bike hoping to use it. 🙄 As soon as I took it out for a “test drive” and switched the gears (I bought the 7 speed), the rear derailleur snapped and broke. I rode this bike for about 30 seconds and now will have to take it to a bike shop to see if they can repair it, as I didn’t keep the box and returns aren’t exactly easy (or cheap) with something that big. Extremely disappointed with this bike. Didn’t rate the comfort given the short time I was able to “ride” the bike. Maybe the one speed bikes are ok but the 7 speed is not. ... show more

My husband assembled it for me, so I cannot really speak to how difficult it was to do. He is very handy with tools and has fixed a lot of bicycles so it was probably easier for him than it would be for most people. The bike is super comfortable and I even kept the seat that came with the bike instead of trading it for a different one as I usually have to do. The gears change easily and I love that I can sit upright while riding so I am not hurting my back or wrists. I feel very secure and stable on this bike and am so happy I got it. I am only sad that I am now in a walking cast and may not get to ride again until next spring. ... show more

Front wheel came misaligned from the factory, so it rubbed against the break pads. I contacted Customer Service and 2 months later I am yet to get a solution. I had to buy a spoke wrench and watch a bunch of online videos to learn how to align (true) the wheel. Not what I wanted right out of the box. ... show more
