Huron 3 speed, very pleased for the price (lightning deal $240). I'm 6', 230lbs and it fits me well, but if your taller I wouldn't recommend. No damage on delivery, was packaged well. Assembly was simple but does require some tools. 3/8 Ratchet 15mm front axle 14mm seat adjustment 13mm seat post clamp on bike 10mm for front fender bolts 10mm open end front fender nut H6 hex for handlebars 14 mm open end wrench for pedals Phillips screwdriver for reflectors Adjustable wrench for headset There was some interference between the tire and front fender but that was easily fixed by bending the attachment arms of the fender. The gear shifts of the nexus hub are very precise and quick. It is recommended to coast between gear shifts to reduce strain on the hub, however it works while pedaling too. The chain needs to be degreased of cosmoline from shipping and then greased with chain lube/wax. Tires get inflated to 43 psi. My front tube was leaking so I contacted Schwinn and they sent a new one (lifetime defect warranty). For registration the serial number is on the bottom of the frame where the pedal cranks attach. There is a production date sticker on the downtube, a picture of that is required for a warranty claim as well. The bike rides great for a cruiser. The 3 speed is a must in my opinion if you ride consistently. Most of the time riding in the neighborhood is in 1 and 2 but if you really want to be an HOA rocketeer click it down to 3 and blast off. The tires do really well on pavement and grass. They are 26x2.125 should you want to replace them or need a new tube. The kickstand is stiff at first but loosens up after a few uses. The seat is firm but liveable, better than other cruisers I've tried. The coaster brake works well. The handle bar grips are comfortable and a good size. Nothing feels flimsy like it will break over time. I believe I read another review where the pedal crank bearings failed, you should never put your full weight or stand on the pedals as this will destroy the bearings. ... show more

    • Junk. Poorly made.
I expected so much more. Poorly made. 3 speed shift has never worked properly. No 1st gear. Watched many YouTube videos and made countless adjustments. Fenders rub against wheels. Loose chain. Uncomfortable seat. My advice, buy another brand and have it assembled professionally.

Overall, the bike looks great, but the seam line on the seat is defective. It is a gift, so I’m am going to be knit picky on this one. And it was delivered a day earlier ruining the surprise. #firstworldproblems#

Bike came with (out of the box) a blown rear tube, cost me 30 bucks to have repaired at the bike shop . . . after reading reviews re scratches/dents etc - - and then having this experience with an 'exploded tube' (probably over inflated) - - i'm guessing problems like those aren't the fault of schwinn, they are a result of 'boxed' bikes bought online, assemblies botched, bikes returned scratched/damaged, bikes resold (maybe more than once). p.s. my choice was either go thru the hassle of disassembling, repacking, returning the bike, or paying the 30 bucks for a new tire-tube. had a similar experience with an on-line purchase of my wife's Huffy . . . from now on, brick and mortar only when it comes to bicycles. ... show more

Three speed is perfect for my mostly flat terrain. Coaster brake meant I didn’t have to mess with brake caliper and pad installation and adjustments. Three speeds and coaster brake is perfect for my mostly flat terrain. Bike arrived two days after ordering and was packaged with care - no damage whatsoever. Very easy to complete the assembly, just had to mount seat, handlebar, front wheel and fender and pedals. Rides nice but may get a cushier seat in the near future. ... show more

Rides good gears shift good no hand brakes on a 3 speed bike finally coaster brakes on a 3 speed so much better than hand brakes and cables.BUT Schwinn sent me a new rim as front axle was stripped and axle nuts are stripped, and they didn't send me new axle nuts or washers, and dont even respond to this problem Why Schwinn? ... show more

NOT impressed...came without brakes or cables, front fork is installed backwards, pedals don't fit to screw in, scratches on the metal and the plastic cover for the gear change was busted!

TLDR/Update at bottom Packaging was good, and the bike would have been easy to assemble if I didn’t have to sand the inside of the stem to fit the handlebars in. The seat was missing a nut witch causes it to be squeaky, but not the worst. The back rim is an absolute mess. I’ve had 7 flats since April. Upon inspection of the rim I’ve found a few ridges which I sanded. That was after the first flat. Granted I ride the bike 4/5 times a week, but all of that is on well maintained roads. No sweet jumps. About 2 months in I noticed a wobble in the back rim and several broken spokes. That was a $50 dollar repair. Add the 7 new tubes at on average $8 dollars a piece. I’ve spent well over $100 dollars in the first 4 months of owning this pile. Not to mention the hours I’ve spent walking home, and working on this machine. Schwinn is nowhere near the company it once was. I was looking for a nice easy riding bike to complement my mountain bike. I’ve never been as disappointed in product I’ve purchased. I’ve contacted customer service twice and still no response. UPDATE - Finally spoke to Schwinn and customer service was great, but it took nearly a month and a half. Pro tip an email isn’t enough you have to follow up on the phone. Once I spoke with them they replaced everything I needed, and were very efficient. Got a new rim, but had to put my own liner in. The cog (gear) for the rim was separate, and not the easiest to assemble. The maiden voyage went off without a hitch. TLDR - This bike is just ok. With all my struggles I would not purchase this bike or a Schwinn again. It may be ok for very light riding, but I don’t see it lasting too many seasons. Do yourself a favor, do research, and maybe spend a little bit more. ... show more
