Used in a 5gal fabric pot for my cannabis plants and didn’t use nutrients or anything and grew quality bud from just the soil coming out of this bag. Couldn’t be happier and will DEFINITELY buy again. Doesn’t seem too “hot” to be able to play around with adding nutrients and adding things into it to “enrich” it/tailor it to a specific plants needs either so it’s a great medium to use for many applications.

I usually make my own potting mix, but when I run out of compost and other organic matter I just buy the good stuff. It's expensive, but it works well, even for starting from seeds. Can't say the same about Ocean Forest in my experience and this seemed closer to Roots Organics Original. I started some watermelon, squash, peppers, cucumbers, and other veggies to later transplant and they all did great.

Happy Frog has worked well for me for years. It holds moisture for a good long while and the minerals and nutrient content pair with my plants and promote rapid growth and flowering. I recomend it as a good potting soil!

Happy Frog is so good that even if your economics mandate that you have to cut it with a cheaper soil (Home Depot Dr Earth) it will still produce great results. You only have to watch the PH of your water and it will give max results. So simple and easy to use for transplanting mature seedlings to Happy Frog from their outgrown Rockwool and a starter soil like Light Warrior. Yes, it has bat guano which is vital for growing extra big plants. I have never found the need to use anything else which would probably complicate everything. It makes everything simple, so I have no worries and can set the grow on medium cruise control maintenance.
