  • Easy to use
Works good reasonably priced

  • Great battery charger!
As described by seller it is easy to use! I received it in secure packaging and no issues on installing the wheels. I recommend that you put wheels on shaft and put caps on first because you need a small hammer to put cap on each end of shaft to hold wheels on. After that then install the assembly to the battery charger with supply screws two foe each side . After that it is ready to use the handle is collapsible for easy storage or transport. It charged my battery on my welder and automatically swapped to maintain a trickle charge over night. Overall it does what it says and I highly recommend it for the price and what you get! k ... show more

  • Works great! After you figure out how to use it properly.
It's a really nice looking battery charger and jumper, it's got a really nice easy to read digital display and even though it has wheels ( the only assembly needed is putting them on and it's kinda simple) it's really not that heavy if you do have to pick it up to move it or store it up off the ground. So I'm not any kind of mechanic by no means, so I figured it's a battery charger and battery jumper I shouldn't need to be a mechanic to figure this out it should be simple enough right? Well not at first I was very frustrated from the owner's manual the way it was written out I had a hard hard time figuring out do I need to plug it in right away and charge it first and is there anything I need to do in order to do that besides plugging it in? The owner's manual is not clear at all on that part of operating this piece of equipment. So I went online to figure out or to get an answer to my question what do I do besides just plug it in. And didn't find much help there never got a straight answer not even from going online to the website of the maker of this product did I get a straight answer. So luckily I have a neighbor that is a mechanic that lives a few doors down who helped me figure it out. And once I got it figured out, we tested it out for a quick jump on another neighbor's car whose battery wasn't turning over, and I jumped his battery and it worked like a champ! I'm one who's very cautious when it comes to anything electrical and I just wanted to make sure I was properly using this battery charger. So my only gripe would be to make the user's manual a little more user friendly and maybe a little more in the layman terms. But again it's got a very nice display readouts very bold easy and easy to see and read, when put to the test of jump starting a battery it did it with ease, so it certainly does what it's supposed to do. And all I did was just plug it in for about 4 hours before I used it. Other than the owner's manual it's a great products and I would recommend it to anyone that just wants to have a charger jumper and there was just in case emergencies when you need one. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Between my older children and their junker vehicles and my mom constantly leaving her lights on, I decided I needed to get a good quality jumper, but mostly because my daughter drives an old pick up truck that just cannot keep her battery charged in the cold.. this is going to become a very well used item for our family. I love how portable it is even if I have to be chained to an outlet, it’s easy to move around, it’s got nice long tables and it has an easy to use display screen. While I think it may be a little pricey for the everyday person for at home use, its ease-of-use is what drew me to it. With a push of a button you can select different amperage, and you can select between standard, agm, or gel cell. The bottom was a little dented from shipping. Assembly was simple, instructions call for only a flat head screwdriver, but you’ll need a hammer for the axle caps. Probably a little more than the average person would need but a hobbyist mechanic would benefit from this battery charger. ... show more

  • Great for your run of the mill lead acid battery.
First of all, don't hook this up to a LiFePO4 battery. Bad things will happen. First thing I noticed is that this is a LOT lighter than my decades old Schumacher wheeled charger. No surprise there, considering the old one is all metal and this one isn't. The old one is beat up, so I don't think this one will stand up to all the abuse that poor old thing has gone through. That one used to belong to my uncle and used to be used nearly daily in a garage. It still works. Second thing, this is a charger and jump starter. Is your battery dead? Get this one out. Is your car going to be sitting for a while? Get a maintainer, not this. When you set this to 40a, it will not just constantly dump 40a into your battery unless it is stone dead. Just like most any other charger, it will give the battery what it will take (up to 40a of course). When I hooked it up to the gel cell in my car, it charged it at around 8a because it wasn't entirely dead. You can use the maintainer mode, I guess. But I wouldn't lug this thing out just to maintain a battery. Use a little maintainer for that one. It took me a second to realize that the charger itself determines if the batter is 6v or 12v. I was looking everywhere, trying to figure out where I set that. You just pick what kind of battery it is, not the voltage. Meaning, you pick if its an AGM, Gel or plain old flooded lead acid. Remember, no LiFePO4. I included a list of error codes for when you ultimately lose the manual, get a code you don't understand and go looking to see what the codes mean. ... show more
