Description

Every home garage needs the versatile Schumacher SJ1332 6-in-1 1200 Peak Amp Jump Starter and Portable Power Station. Built for heavy-duty jump starting, the SJ1332 has enough power to jump start up to 8.0L gas or 6.0L diesel engines. It also serves as a portable power station perfect for tailgating, camping, and emergency use. A 200 continuous watt and 400 peak watt power inverter provides AC power to the two built-in 120V AC outlets. The SJ1332 also features two 12V DC accessory outlets for powering 12V appliances and a 2.0A USB port for USB devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc. An LED area light is perfect for providing emergency lighting or using the SJ1332 after dark. Turning the SJ1332 around, you’ll find a 150-PSI air compressor with an analog gauge, compressor hose, storage area, and several nozzles. Accompanying the air compressor is a built-in inflator/deflator for use with inflatable air mattresses, pool toys, and more. An inflator/deflator hose and adapter end is included. I’ll start off by saying if you’re thinking about getting this, then don’t hesitate. Prior to purchasing my personal one, we used these in my work both for our fleet cars and also outdoor vending events. They handle jump starting and pumping air into tires well. I’ve literally used this thing to power a party block speaker from SoCal to Vegas w. Used it to inflate camping beds, power string lights and charge laptops. I consider this a necessity. That being said. It is a heavy unit as it uses a sealed lead acid battery around 20AH. It’s reliable. It is about the size and weight of a 2 gallon pack of milk (lol). I have transferred this unit from a jeep, to a suburban and now my super compact daily driver that has very limited space. But I’m my opinion it is worth it. It is also very user friendly. Placing the clamps on the battery will show you the voltage, turning the starter switch will show you the boost it gives the battery, wait till is over 12v and give it a go. Built in LED helps for nighttime use. Incorporated usb port is always handy. Oh yeah also this thing is built pretty robust. It’s taken a beating and keeps ticking.     • Jump starter, battery, air compressor, tire inflation, electrical source, small appliance power (cell phone, lights, computer).
I've just bought my second Schumacher 1200A Power Station which I use mostly for it's compressor to pump up tires. Whole lot more convenient than going to a gas station, when a tire is very low. This will save you a lot of time for a slow leak, where you can use "fix a flat", them fill tire enough to get the tire fixed. The Jump Starter is adequate only for cars, not a heavy duty truck or other big engine vehicle (350cc or larger). The air compressor is very adequate for my large engine truck tires. When you receive it, they recommend keeping the charge connected for 36 hours, just to have it full strength. An automatic internal switch shuts off any overcharging. And re-charge it, after each use. There is a display of how full your charge. Keep it pushed back up to 100% after each use (which I've failed to do a couple times), but my first 1200A unit will still hold a charge for all twelve of my vehicle tires. This product is pretty impressive. I bought it for use as a portable battery pack for my CPAP and other generic uses (jumping batteries) and I have not been disappointed. I have jumped my Side by Side battery at least ten times and haven’t had to recharge the unit. It is still showing 100% battery after over a month without charge AND being used as needed around the house/garage. I’m impressed and very happy with this purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m a traffic controller. I have a few sets of Amber/white strobe lights in my truck. For previous emergencies, I’d have to keep my truck running to keep my lights on, or come back to a guaranteed dead battery. This has saved my butt twice now to jump my truck and it’s worth its weight in gold for keeping my lights running. Charges easily and is very user friendly.     • Will not charge
I received this product and the charge status showed 85%. I plugged it in using my own extension cord because it does not come with a power cord, and waited 3 days. The charge status then showed 52%. I needed it to jump my dead van battery, so I went ahead and used it and my van started right up. It now showed the charge status at 19%. I again plugged this product in and left it for 5 days and then it showed the charge status at 11%, let it charge for 5 more days and now it is at 3%. It will not charge and it is actually losing the charge. This worthless to me. I recommend you do not purchase this product and there are many other bad reviews as well. Very happy. This is the real deal. I use it when I go to the storage lot where we store our camper it allows me to hook up and move slide outs and leveling jacks. The battery in the RV is not powerfull enough.

    • Liked the first Schumacher Rechargeable AGM Jump Starter so much, we got another one
The ease of recharging is good. The weight a bit high, but therein lies the power we want. Holds a full charge a long time. Got one to use with our fleet of assorted vehicles. The more vehicles one has, the harder it is to keep all of the batteries in peak condition. The jumper cables and clamps are of highest quality and self stow quite conveniently. The readouts are helpful. The air pump was used on one occasion. It did its job, but it was a slow process, requiring a little patience to refill a neighbor's SUV flat tire from empty to full pressure. Not the reason we purchased the Jump Starter. We liked our first Jump Starter enough to get a second unit to use as a power supply for our telescopes when in the field. Using the AC adapter capability, we can plug in the telescope's transformer power supply to provide the proper voltage to power the tracking drive and heaters (prevent fogging and condensation on electricals). The large LED readout on the unit tells us when optimal power will soon become compromised and we can safely end our stargazing session without stressing delicate electronics with low grade power. The red readout and indicators keep eyes well condition for working/playing in darkness. While the charger is turned off, hooking the jumper cables to the battery in question will give one a readout of its state. One can also use this function to verify the output of the alternator of vehicle in question, once the engine is started. Sometimes that process of elimination is helpful as a battery can initially take the blame for an alternator problem. These chargers can be rejuvenated by simply installing a new battery pack when the original expires. We have yet to replace one. Our original charger must be around 5 years old.
