Bought this last summer in case I needed it over the winter. It sat for months and when I did need it, nothing. It lit up but there was no output at all. Too late to return. Total junk that is going to the curb for trash pickup. Don't buy this. Edit: I have a 30 amp Craftsman charger I bought used at a garage sale in the 70s. It has always worked great year after year after so many uses. I used the leads of this POS Schumacher to replace the crumbling leads on this, Overkill I know, but it turns into not a total loss on a bad purchase I made with Schumacher junk. I bought this POS because my old charger only has a 50 amp boost. Bad choice on my part. If a cheap Craftsman charger can still work after 50 years, why can't Schumacher make one the will even work out of the box? Shop around and do better. ... show more

I like, but let me say that if ya do n't let it do it's thing, that is written in the manual, then for me it took longer to get to the place that I needed a helping charger to be, now I plug it in hook up the cables and walk away after it turns on, I say it knows batteries, if ya need to start a vehicle, even an emergency will take longer to get it to the 200 amps, or I can get all frustrated and keep hitting the on button, it's a great tool use it alot, was going to replace it with a manual charger until I reread and understand that it thinks on it's own, so I just get out of it's way and it does just fine and hope it stays and is what it is, sorry no video yet it's thinking about it, ... show more

Great charger, really does the job, this is my second one. The first lasted about 10 years, it had a issue with the relay switch, and Schumacher doesn't make or supply parts anylonger. I searched all kind of leads for the part without any luck. At the price I found this one of 119.00 free shipping you can't lose, plus you can get a three year warranty for about 20.00. ... show more
