This is our first hot tub purchase and we could not be more pleased! From delivery and setup to ease of care and hours of pure bliss... we are extremely happy with this hot tub! I thought this would be a first “introductory” tub for us but I’m sold and I don’t ever see us going to something big and bulky. We have a lot of patio but the area we designated for hot tub entertainment was in the smaller part of the L-shaped patio... this tub works perfectly in small spaces! Easy to move around (empty) and easy to fill. The jets are great... I don’t think I’d want any more pressure than what they are putting out. Love the lights, love the plug and play aspect, the ease of getting in and out of it. All around a great hot tub! The interior does have some grit feel to it but not enough to be bothersome and I think that will smooth out over time. If you’re looking for a plug and play hot tub at a good price, stop researching... I’ve done more leg work than you can imagine! Get this one!

Love this Hot Tub, so far. We have only had it set up for 9 days and have used it almost every day. We were looking for a small hot tub that would be comfortable for 2 people but could hold more if we had family or friends over. We wanted a hot tub that wasn't made of acrylic or fiberglass due to an apparent allergic reaction. The resin that this unit is made from, seems to eliminate that problem. Everything worked great after setup, with only draining for set up being very slow (not sure if that is normal or not). The cover that comes with it is very nice. The cup holders are a great plus. We will update this review after we have used it for a longer period of time. The only bad thing with the purchase (nothing to do with company who makes it) is Amazon screwed up the order There was an issue with the card we used. Instead of contacting us, they canceled the order. Then, after nearly 2 weeks later, reordered it on our backup card. All without contacting us or in anyway working with us. Amazon caused a 4-week delay, and also took away the reason we wanted to use the primary card (to get the extra warranty from the card). The delay caused by Amazon required us to have someone else accept delivery for us. Thankfully, it was well packaged and had no issues in shipment. Amazon promised that we could have the unit delivered to our back porch because of the problems they caused, but the final delivery folks could not accommodate that since we have loose stone in the backyard.

Essential NEWPORT Hot Tub. I really like this tub. I like it as much as my old LA Spas tub that cost almost three time what the Essential did. I've had this running over a month now and have had no problems. The tub is manufactured by Strong Spas. It took over a month for it to be delivered. The driver put it in my driveway but refused to help me move it 50 feet to behind the house. He said I should have ordered "white glove" delivery in advance. He did, however, take the pallet and wrapping materials with him. I managed to get it to the back patio by putting it on a little furniture dolly but really should have waited until I had some help. Setup was simple. I flushed it with water to remove any possible chemicals, then filled it with water. I didn't want to wait for the water to heat up so when I filled it, I connected my hose to the hot water hose bib behind the washing machine. I turned the temperature up on water heater which is only about forty gallons. I alternated cold and hot water until the tub was full. I managed to get it to 104 degrees in just a couple hours. Then I just plugged it in and jumped in. There are a couple of things that weren't perfect but they weren't bad enough to keep this from being the best deal on a hot tub. The granite pattern looks nice until you look closer and see how inconsistent it is. Some areas are blurry and in some areas the pattern looks stretched or squeezed. It's a small thing and doesn't bother me. The tub cover is not the best quality but it is usable. I also wasn't impressed with the customer service. I had a question about the GFCI cord. I was on hold for almost an hour and was then disconnected. I called back and got a recording that said they were closed. Frustrating. This tub is solid, has a strong motor and strong jets and holds its temperature well. Despite my comments about the imperfections of the pattern, it is a good looking tub. I'm very glad I bought it.

I've always enjoyed using a hot tub and thought I would like to own one, but thought it cost prohibitive. Then one day I happened upon this Essential Hot Tub. Based on the reviews, I decided to give it a try. The delivery went smooth. The delivery guys even helped me bring it in the backyard and place it on the paving blocks I'd leveled. The tub was easy to set up. I was up and running it less than a day. I love this tub. I use it daily. Sometimes twice a day. It is very relaxing. I live in the south and have it hooked up to a 40amp 120v dedicated circuit. There is no problem with keeping the tub heated. The cons I have with the tub are the cover came with a rip on the bottom. It doesn't affect the performance. But the shipping box was not damaged at all. Therefore someone packed and shipped the cover knowing it was ripped. There are a few spots where the finish of the tub is different. In some spots the resin is a little rougher and one small spot the color (dye I'm guessing) is missing. Another annoying thing is with the lounge section of the tub. There are two jets on your back, two on the back of your thighs, two on the back of your calves, but when you get to your feet there is only one jet. The jets massaging your feet feels great. Why would they only put one jet here!?! Overall, it is an excellent investment. I'd definitely recommend it!
