It has been a life changer . I ordered it a day after my hysterectomy , and got it the next day . For 2 days I used normal pillows piled up and I swear there was no support or comfort in doing that . I was never so grateful to get this pillow in ! You can change the pillow around to sit up straighter , or if you want propped up sleeping . It’s comfortable and doesnt lose shape therefore provides the support I needed to get rest and sleep ! I didn’t smell any odors , the material was soft , it shaped really quickly after opening ,big enough , it is definitely worth the money !! This was great for after surgery. Allowed the patient to sleep elevated, allowing for easier breathing, less pain and added comfort. I would suggest some sort of pillowcase or covering as the material is such that it attracts fuzzies and stains easily.

My wife had surgery recently on her midsection of her body. The surgeon recommended that she keep her upper body elevated so as not the put a strain on her incision. This pillow set works amazingly. She had absolutely no issues sleeping with it.

when I received i got a little frustrated because it was very slippery and didn't know how to avoid sliding down. but finally got some ideas, put a folded towel as a base to put the pillow on. i covered the entire pillow with the comforter and put another towel on top to create some friction. When you lay down, sit at the skinny edge of the wedge and lay down, your hips are supposed to be at the edge, put a pillow under your knees and that will stop you from sliding down. Great pillow for recovery, very easy to get up and out of the bed. Don't forget to put pillows on each side so your arms rest comfortably. ... show more

The gentle slope is much more comfortable than stacking two regular pillows, and it provides good support for my head and neck. It’s also soft and comfortable, and for the moment it’s helping. The half-moon pillow doesn’t stay attached and moves around while I sleep, which has interrupted my sleep more than once. I also wish the two main pieces weren’t permanently attached, as that limits how they can be used. My biggest issue is long-term practicality. You can’t put a normal pillowcase over it, so keeping it clean is going to be difficult. Between that and the construction, it feels more like a use-it-until-you-don’t-need-it product than something designed to keep around. It’s useful for now, but I don’t think it’s worth the price, and once I no longer need it, I’ll probably throw it away. ... show more

I was unfortunately disappointed with the overall quality of this product. Within just two days of use, it began to show signs of wear and deterioration, which raises concerns about its durability and long-term value. The foam itself is fairly standard and does not stand out in terms of comfort or support. However, the primary issue lies with the cover. The material is extremely thin to the point of being nearly see-through, which gives it a fragile and low-quality feel. This lack of durability becomes especially problematic when adjusting the pillow. The Velcro straps are attached to relatively small pads, and when repositioning, they tend to catch on the cover fabric. This frequently results in snagging and tearing, further compromising the integrity of the product. Additionally, the limited number of attachment points reduces the effectiveness of the adjustable design. The concept of an adjustable pillow is appealing, but in practice, it is difficult to modify its position without risking damage to the cover. This significantly limits its versatility and usability. While the product is straightforward to use, it is also somewhat bulky and not particularly portable. Combined with the overall feel of inexpensive materials, it does not offer strong value for the price.
