My wife and I got this to replace a set of Ginsu Knives that had been well used and loved for over a decade and a half. So far we love these knives. Their extremely sharp and its amazing to have knifes that are sharp and don't have nicks and haven't been resharped by inexperienced hands for a decade. They are hand wash only but that's fine. The grip is very nice and the knives are well weighted. The block leans a bit more than our past set so it takes up about 3/4 the length of the largest knife on the counter but we don't really notice even though our previous block with the Ginsu was verticle. ... show more
